Just curious, but how did Arizona State get a tie.

Don't know, good question.

Probably a rain out or curfew while the game was tied.

They lost their series at home to the University of Central Arkansas. A school that does not offer baseball scholarships.

Their schedule has been really, really weak. I'm of the opinion that baseball polls shouldn't be overly reactive, though. Hell, last year LSU dropped two of three to Auburn before sweeping Arkansas' most accomplished team in over three decades, taking two of three from a damn strong Florida team on the road and winning the conference.

At least their football team waited til they played teams with a pulse before they collapsed.

They couldn't have picked a better weekend to lose.

I tried getting a try out for their team. They told me I would be the #1 pitcher just by showing up and being left handed. It doesn't hurt that I also throw a knuckleball.

Why don't they offer baseball scholarships?

I'm really looking forward to league play. There are going to be some awesome weekend games pretty much every weekend.

I love how this just went from all of the SEC to how awful state's baseball team is doing.

Just about every Friday and most Saturdays are going to have premiere pitching match ups. It's always funny to see the difference in scoring on a Friday vs a Sunday.
