They’re not wrong. Cal was reaching out to Ohio State in February.

That’s literally the first person/account I’ve seen upset about him leaving Kentucky

Almost as good as when Cal takes Arky into Lexington and stones them.

It is clear - Kentucky was a stepping stone job to Arkansas.

Considering Cal’s model we expect our entire team will be gone. He will also take the incoming class or they may go elsewhere. So our new coach will be starting from scratch. The fans understand that.

Kentucky bashers forget Pitinos first season here. 13-13 and the fans were jacked because the kids played balls to the wall.

We are looking to the future with a coach that builds a team for championships, not the NBA. It may take a couple of years. So be it.

Kentucky fans have never expected a final four every year. What we expect is to be in the conversation. We expect to beat 14 and 15 seeds. We expect a sweet sixteen or better more years than not. We expect a well coached, fundamentally sound team.

Those are not unreasonable expectations for an 8.5 million dollar a year coach to meet.

This is every major basketball program now.

Everything else you said is spot on and I agree.

What's wrong with chicken? Having some tonight, of course the good stuff, Purdue in honor of a game tonight that no one now cares about.

This is reasonable.

What was he supposed to do stop coaching because ky fans wanted him to? Cal was having dinner with J Tyson the night before our game in Fayetteville. Ky fans should be thanking him for moving on and not forcing them to pay him. Theyre not rolling in money even the best bball teams dont bring in a fraction of what football does. Im sure they have a few boosters but apparently not giving to NIL was lacking
