He's aggressive. Which is what we need. I think at a place like Arkansas where you're not gonna get as much talent as some of the other schools you need to overload on defensive line recruits personally. You have to have a defense that gets in the backfield regularly.
I had been hoping we would have hired Odom when he first went to Mizzou. He's a great defensive coach. Did great things at Memphis and Missouri both. Happy to have him on board.

Totally agree. I think Odom is going to be a great DC for Arky....he's going to be extremely motivated.

This I agree with. If Odom gets Arky's defense ranked in the top 10 nationally he'll be a candidate for a P5 HC gig.

Treat him well, Arky. No one around here disliked him, he is an alum for heaven's sake. But the program needed new life.
