Coach O is a better coach now than Les was in 2014, 2015, 2016. He's recruiting better on both lines, he's done a better job evaluating and recruiting quarterbacks, and he's hiring better coaches and getting rid of bad ones quicker.

Those results are showing on the field now. It's impossible to do better than 2019, but it can definitely be far better than 2017 or 2018.

Thankfully, we had a better season than Alabama has ever had.

Great, y’all can have that. I would rather have 5 marginally worse seasons

One hit wonder. Win five titles in a decade, then maybe your opinion will mean something.

Eh, if thats your measure for success then you'll be a sad individual when Nick leaves.

And it's repeated ad nauseum that Burrow was a shite quarterback before Brady came to LSU.

Did Alabama hire a whiz kid this offseason?

I don't know what you're getting at, but I was getting at Alabama has a much more proven commodity at QB than LSU in addition to everything else I mentioned.

Alabama has had an elite offense for nearly a decade, LSU hired a whiz kid and became an elite offense. Now the whiz kid is gone and there's a first time starter at QB. Who knows how LSU will look this year schematically, but we do know that Mac Jones has proven to be more than serviceable. Myles Brennan hasn't. Doesn't mean he won't be, but he isn't a known commodity.

Thus, it's pretty silly to question why anyone would say bama is better on paper offensively right now than LSU. It's clear as day

I don't think Alabama had ever won anything before Nick Saban got there, so you're probably right.

1-1 as a starter vs SEC (lost to a true freshmen Bo Nix and barely beat 2-10 Arkansas)

Threw two pick sixes and was the reason you lost.

Compounding that is Alabama's downward trend.

Wishful thinking isn't a terribly impressive methodology of analysis.

I think we fight it out with Auburn for 2nd place in the SECW. I'd be very happy with 10-2.

Waddle has more receptions, yards, and touchdowns than Marshall btw. Classic case of homerism there.

In his career.

But last year when Marshall became a starter he had more then twice as many TDs.

And Waddle played behind two first round WRs. He’s going to take on a much bigger role in 2020. He’s clearly a WR and offense can run through. Especially with Smith on the other side.

Sallee's predictions are usually insufficient in content.

So? Marshall played behind the best WR in the country and a first rounder.

The guys in front of him caught 20 and 18 TDs. And he still got his.

Key phrase “became a starter”

Waddle has never been a starter, nevermind having a Heisman winner throwing to him.
