The pavement clearly grabbed his feet. I've had it happen to me after a few too many. I don't know how the pavement knows, but it does.

I don’t know how that dude has managed to live as long as he has but I’d party with him.

Honest question. Why does Alabama football want him to be around the program so much? It sure doesn’t help with stereotypes.

It's not like we made him head coach, unlike another school currently throwing stones in their glass house.

It resulted in the best college football team of all time so I’d say it’s at worst a wash.

Coming out of an era with the best coach ever, who maintained a brand of excellence and then you see this dude constantly around the program. Really odd decision by your administration Bama.

He is your typical Alabama fan though. It fits them perfectly

LSU kept Les Miles around for more than a decade and then hired Coach O to replace him.

Who could have predicted that Willie would be a better recruiter than Freeze?

Yeah - gonna take a hard pass on this one - best not to go too deep making fun of characters from another fan base, knowing what we have crawling around in our kitchen.

I know a guy like this who is in his 70's. Drinks beer from the moment he wakes up till he goes to sleep. Always has a ice with cold beer in his truck 24/7. Dude used to drink a 6 pack of tall boys before work every morning. People like this often out live all of us.

Its crazy that Alabama fans have openly accepted Willy as their team icon. The most redneck motherfricker on the planet and thats who Bama fans idolize. fricking hilarious

He was a passenger in a head on collision as a child nearly killed and has had debilitating health issues ever since. Miracle he is alive.
