no idea what the score is

My prediction however is that LSU will play tough and hard and with a frickton of emotion... until Bama gets that NonOffensiveTouchdown and it will be all Bama from there. The margin of victory depends entirely on how late in the game this happens.

Bama loses the iron bowl as well. Ags win out and CFP bound.

LSU hasn't reached 20 points in one of these games since 2010. Hard to see it happening this year.

LSU 24

LSU D with a strip sack returned for a TD is the difference

I think LSU hangs tough, at home, crowd fired up. More importantly coach O and the Fans believe they can win.

First Quarter
Alabama moves the ball well on their first two drives. LSU picks up a couple of first downs, but is generally shut down. 10-0 Alabama.

Second Quarter
LSU's defense makes adjustments and gets after Hurts. Fournette is generally not gaining much, but manages to bust a a 45 yarder putting the ball inside the Alabama 15. LSU's offense stalls out and settles for a field goal. 10-3 Alabama/Half.

Third Quarter
LSU and Alabama both are in a defensive struggle and play for field position. Tim Williams gets after Etling and forces a fumble switching the field position in their favor. Hurts is able to get aways for a 20 yard scramble. Alabama takes a couple of shots in the endzone against LSU, but is denied. They kick a field goal. 13-3 Alabama.

Fourth Quarter
LSU picks up a couple of first downs. Facing a third and long, LSU converts to DJ Chark keeping the ball moving. LSU stalls again and has to settle for a field goal. 13-6.

Alabama attempts to shorten the game by running the ball. They pick up a couple of first downs. LSU's defense finally makes the stop with around 2:50 left giving the crowd hope. Alabama punts and Tre White houses it for 80 yards. The crowd erupts. Not wanting to face the Alabama defense in overtime and feeding off the crowd's momentum, Coach O decides to go for two. LSU lines up in split-I formation with Fournette in the back. LSU hands off to Fournette and is met by Rueben Foster around the goal line, but is willed into the endzone by strength and determination. The crowd is like it has never been before. 14-13 LSU.

LSU kicks off. Alabama gets a decent return to the LSU 35 yard line. Hurts throws an incomplete pass. Hurts again is in shotgun w/no one open and he takes off. He slides down around the 50. LSU fans are starting to get nervous. Hurts completes a 11 yard pass. Alabama is inching towards field goal range. The crowd is still going nuts and Arden Key is able to shake free for a huge monster sack putting Alabama way out of field goal range. Alabama has to settle for a hail mary. They get it off only to be batted down.
