I think we're a 25+ win team next year. We return everyone but Green.
If Cooper, Randolph, and Releford all become, at minimum, decent 3pt shooters (33-35%), Jacobs figures out that you have to start playing defense more than 4 feet away from the basket, Pollard signs with us, and at least one of Engstrom and Gueye is capable of giving us 25 solid minutes every night....we MIGHT win 25 games next year.
Cooper, Randolph, Lacey, Steele and Releford all need to become 35% three point shooters next year. If Releford was a threat from three he would be unguardable.
Randolph and Jacobs need to become 80% free throw shooters. They should have to shoot 75% to keep their scholarships.
Tony Mitchell should be allowed to come back, after he aplogizes for being a whiny bitch who didn't block out or play defense. He has to take a blood oath he will do those things and take good shots, share the ball and rebound.
CAG needs to sign Devonte Pollard.
Jacobs need to learn how to defend the post and rebound.
Engstrom and Gueye have to learn some post moves and become scoring threats and defensive presences on the low block.
Unless all those things happen, Bama will not win 25 games.

He definitely needs to hire an assistant who can help work on the offense. Failing to score 60 against one of the worst defensive teams in the country is just pathetic.
Did anyone besides me notice that the Bama scoring drought coincided with Creighton going to the zone. Bama has struggled all year trying to score against zone defenses.
Creighton also made a mini-run when Bama was trying to play a zone against them. I think the reason he was trying to play a zone was so he could hide Jacobs in it but it blew up on him. You can't defend a team of shooters like Creighton in a zone. CAG did not coach his best game, and Bama's deficiencies were exposed. Perhaps Bama comes out better getting jobbed in a questionable last call than getting run out of the gym against the Tar Heels.

I want a complete athletic program, led by the best football program in America. We need top notch facilities for every sport, men and women's.

Well, that was a disaster. Very frustrating season but in the end I guess with all that went on the fact that we made the tourny was something.
All I want to see next year is a more aggressive mindset offensively. I don't know how good we'll be but we can't play scared offensively, we've got to change the overall mindset.
I had no interest in hanging around here after the game and melting down in public (solitary meltdowns are my thing these days) but I suspect Grant got killed for the timeout. I get it, but at the same time Releford looked like he thought we had 15 seconds or left or some shite. Not sure what he was doing.
I couldn't even enjoy the Mizzou meltdown.

How did you not blow your brains out 2001- 2007?

It always seems to be. I think if he can bring back a motivated Mitchell/sign Pollard things could look good for next year. If neither of those things happens it is going to be a rough one.

This is stupid what does one have to do with the other?
If the football teams wins 1 game or all of their games it will not change the basketball teams chances of winning anything.

Exactly bw. It's as if they think I'm suggesting Alabama football give up a national championship next year as if that's almost a given for us now each year. It amazes me how some of our fans so easily lose sight of where our football program was 5 to 10 years ago. We now have some that are so entitled that a 10 win season coming after 2 national titles in 3 years is an unacceptable "down" year. Heaven forbid we make a Final 4 in basketball and "only" win 10 games in football next year.

I didn't pose the scenario you dipshit. If you're going to respond to something at least know what it is you're commenting on in the first place.
