A&M O-line will have to give allen time to throw. so they don't have to rely on the quick throws fore dink and dunk. bama can tackle quickly and really make it hard to go down the field. with time allen can pass downfield to test bama's weakness. that might let them run the ball a little bit as well.

Bama is not good on 3rd downs. Haven't been all season. Add in Bama's penchant for missing field goals

Neither are a real concern and neither kept us from beating Ole Miss. Our % to complete 3rd downs is on par with what aTm allows. And we have yet to rely on our FG kicking this year to win a game. So as long as our O keeps doing what they have been minus the turnovers it will be enough to outscore aTm with the our D controlling the rest of the game.

Turnovers is my only concern if any.

Well, that's just not true. UGA and aTm are pretty much equal.

Derrick Henry is the key to the whole game. If Alabama can run with success between the tackles, then they should win. They can control the pace of play, burn the clock and limit A&M's offensive chances.

If A&M can slow him down, it brings the strength of their defense (hall and garrett) more into play, and then they can force the issue with Coker.

For this to be competitive our offense is going to need to score some points. Probably at least 24 and likely more as bama will have success running the ball.

I know bama has a good defense but honestly the biggest thing that can stop our offense is ourselves. Our OC likes to get cute and call terrible screen or swing passes, or predictably run on every second down and that's what will get us behind the chains and into difficult 3rd downs. If our offense comes out playing well, A&M will be in the game for all 4 quarters.

We should force Alabama into passing situations. That means 3rd and longs

you mean, I hope and pray we can force a few 3rd and longs.

space has no seams. you must mean " we need to get our receivers open".

Bama offense must be able to sustain long drives and keep the TAMU offense off the field as much as possible.

Bama defense needs to be able to pressure the QB with a 4 man front and win the 3rd down battle.

TAMU offense must be able to establish a running game and win the TO battle.

TAMU defense will need to shut down Bama's rushing attack and force Bama to throw more. Also must create more 3 and outs so their defense will not be gassed by the 4th qtr.

I would disagree with that because Georgia hasn't played good passing teams.

ASU, MSU, Arky all have very capable pass attacks.

It seems pretty obvious that Bama is going to run the ball a lot and then call lots if screen passes on third down.

A&M must stop those screens to get off the field. It will be the key to the game.

Keys to the game:
1) Get sheetmetal
2) Pick a target
3) Make metal voodoo doll of target
4) Saw Bama's tusks off! Whoop! SEC! SEC! SEC!

I like our chances with Chief calling the shots. If our def can keep us in it, our offense can light it up at just about any point in the game.

We don't need to hold them to 17 points. We just can't give up 35 out of the gate.

People keep bringing up Chavis. People seem to forget that Chavis will be coaching A&M players on saturday and not LSU. LSU defense is in a different world then A&M.

Don't let the Aggie QB make plays with his feet. If he picks up first downs on scrambles when we should have boxed him in, we're in trouble.

Thats all I'm really worried about, oh and Geno Mattias-Smith trying to cover ANYBODY.

Huh? You do know that Kyle Allen is a much better passer than Chad Kelly, the guy that lit you up for 341 and 3 TDs in air, right? And that A&M's receivers are much better than what's at Ole Miss? A mobile QB shouldn't be your concern. Boxing him in just gives him more time to hurt you through the air. Being overly aggressive on the pass rush is your better option.

I am almost 100% certain the TAMU will hold a commanding edge in KO return yards.
