I think he was referring to getting guys back from early season injuries and those guys getting
back to mid season form.

Jermaine Burton,Darnell Wahington and Roemary-Jacksaint were all dinged up/injured at the beginning
of the season and missed several games.

You could add Pickens to the list but he might not make an impact til the playoffs.

I'd agree except the Iron Bowl has been a pattern. It wasn't just one game.

I don't see patterns in football. I am a firm believer that one years results do not translate to the next year. I do beieve teams go through ebbs and flows, ups and downs, but I they also turn things around.

In a rivalry game like the Iron Bowl? Throw out any previous results.....IF the teams are even semi-serviceable.

Just my opinion.

My bad. I missed your point. You meant a pattern within the season and a pattern withing the series.
Your point stands. My apologies.

I thought that going into the Iron Bowl that we'd finally see a complete Bama team. What I saw was the complete opposite. I saw an Auburn team without Bo Nix, and with a hobbled backup QB that couldn't make it at LSU, give Alabama 99.99% of a Loss. The same Auburn team that UGA handled without much problem 34-10. I saw Alabama look straight up embarrassing on the OL, not able to get just 1 yard on multiple conversion opportunities.

They're facing a much more lethal DL, better LBs, and better secondary than the one that held them to 10 points for 60 mins. And UGA is much more explosive on offense than people would like to believe.

Every single logical point leads me to believe that Georgia is just too much for Alabama. Logically, no I don't see a blowout, but I do see one of those games where it's clear who the better team is the entire time.

So why do I still have this feeling it will be a good game? No idea. I guess its the Richt PTSD I am stricken with.

It also gets ignored that our 3 leading receivers are freshmen. They have improved each week.

How does Bama cover Bowers?
We will employ 1 tight end sets.
2 tight end sets.
3 tight end sets.

We can throw from all of those.
It is why we literally destroy man coverage.
Does Bama stay in nickel against 12 personnel?
Does Bama stay in nickel against 13 personnel?

Bowers can blow by safeties.
James cook can blow by linebackers.
UGA can formation and motion bama to declare coverage.

Our offensive mvp is todd monken. Bama's DC is going to have his hands full.

UGA unless that Bama team from last week does a total 180

They will need more than a 180. They haven't looked dominate all year. Surely the New Mexico state game doesn't instill this confidence?
Edit, I guess there was Miss St.

I don't like transitive properties but between common opponents.

D stats
UGA gave up 34 points with 14 coming late in the game with starters out. Lets say 20
Bama gave up 107, starters in the entire game.

Margin of Victory
UGA 28
Bama 8.5

That's only fair. We've been laughing at LSU for the last two years.

You finished with Missouri, Tennessee, Charleston Southern and Georgia Tech. Of course you’re receivers were getting better. Have you starters played a second half in the last 4 games?

I think he means healthier. We’ve been playing freshman all year because Blaylock, Washington and Pickens have been out. They’re all back now and getting in game shape, giving us a little more fire power.

because retards you don't realize that not every loss is a choke. I would LOVE to hear you explain how the 2019 LSU game was a choke on kirby's part.

Actually, yeah. Kirby has been playing starters at spots into the 4th specifically so they’ll be ready for a full 4 qtrs come postseason. It almost fricked us over against Tennessee with Nolan Smith and Devontae Wyatt both getting hurt but both played Saturday against Tech so crisis averted.

Although it is very hard to ignore UGA's history of egg laying and bed crapping, I just don't see how Bama wins this game. Geaux Dawgs!

So losing a football game is “choking”? How many times has Saban “choked”? Dabo? Mullen? Kelly?
Jimbo? Harbaugh? Cristobal?

In how many games that you listed was Kirby favored? You’ve just picked up on an idiotic narrative and ran with it.

2017 national title game - indisputable choke
2018 LSU - literally no reason to get absolutely drilled by a team Bama would beat 29-0
2018 SEC championship - multiple two TD leads. Epic choke.
2019 South Carolina - Wow. Really need to explore this one?
2019 SEC championship - An opportunity to go to the playoffs on the line. With all that talent, ouldn't even bring a competitive team to the stadium.
2020 Bama - Had the lead. QB melts down. Blame whoever you want.
2020 Florida - Blown out by an eventual 4-loss UF team.

It's not just losing the games. It's the way Kirby does it, especially with the loaded rosters he's had. That's why I have no faith in him to close this season out with a title until I actually see him lift the trophy.

If those are chokes, then I would say Saban chokes more. Shall we go over his chokes using the same criteria you used for Kirby?

I think we could say Saban has as good a chance of choking as Kirby. I mean, Saban is up 1-0 against Kirby in choking in this year along, right?

In what sense? Dude isn’t Cam Newton physical so are you saying he’s too fast for an LB to take down? Because that’s not true against Georgia’s LB corps this year
