DO any of you people remember the 1st week of last year?

LSU played and beat the eventual Pac-12 champs and looked like world beaters doing it.

Bama played (Kent State I think) and it took 3 quarters for them to pull away.

It's all about who you play in the 1st game. We had two days of practice this week because of a hurricane and it was North frickING Texas. We could have played at half speed tonight and beat those guys.

You people are pathetic football fans.

PSU would've been a 9-10 win team last yr had THEY NOT GOTTEN SANDUSKEYED & the coach for 82 yrs NOT BEEN FIRED COME ON MAN!! your better than that statement.

Bucc Penn State finished 9-4 last year with losses to Bama, Nebraska, Wisconsin and Houston.

I bet that Bama wins it all again this year. They have the best coach who can recruit the best players. I'm a graduate of LSU, but I also happen to be a person who can accept reality. Bama and Saban will always be on top. I hate to tell my fellow LSU fans the truth, but Saban has found a permament home in Alabama. He will retire at Bama. You can book it too

Ya think? Thats why they suit up and play the game ... You say your a college graduate??? One game does not make the season. Maybe Saban will retire at Bama, but that has nothing at all to do with the outcome of this season and.... just because you believe one thing does not make it truth!!! Saban will always be on top of you in your homo fantasy world, but not in this one.

Michigan did lose its last game to Mississippi State 52-14, lost 6 games last season

I certainly understand LSU fans like to think 2011 didn't happen, but it did - and in 2011 Michigan was 11-2 and beat Virginia Tech in the Sugar Bowl.

They don't have a new coach either.

Best team Saban has had since he has been here. I'm in a skybox in Dallas and we have never been this good this early in the season.

Of course.

Technically 2011 Michigan did lose to MSU just like 2012 LSU lost to bama.

There are always a bunch of cheerleaders here - and whine when LSU loses. But, as much as I hate to see it, LSU was a boy to Bama's man ever since the NC. And Bama can rightfully brag that - until and if - we ever beat them again.

You were up by 3 at the half. Bama was up by 31 in the 1st half. Who looked like world beaters?

You've been practicing for a month including two-a-days.

This! Can't tell you how many times I've seen a smartass Bama fan on here refer to the championship game as "this year".

It's true - Bama has got a machine this year. LSU has some good players, and may even pull one out and beat Alabama, but, for now, it seems unlikely.

All our chest pumping, excuses, and slogans can't win. It's got to be the team. Bama has definitely got it together. LSU needs some work.

Well no shite.

I never made the comparison between the two

CrimsonTaint was basically saying they played just as good an opponent as we did last year in the same matchup, which is crazy

I agree, they looked much more poised and sharp last night. We will have to see if they keep it up and if LSU can start improving once we hit the SEC slate
