I think this game confirms we are one of the best--but it doesn't say we're definitely better than LSU or some of the other "contenders" or "the team to beat."

It just says we beat an obviously overrated opponent the way they are supposed to be beaten.

I'm not complaining at all about a win--but 'Bama clearly has things we need to work on.

I'm willing to bet you won't last this entire season on the board. You have to be the worst Alabama poster on this entire website.

Bama the team to beat
Michigan did lose its last game to Mississippi State 52-14, lost 6 games last season, and played without its starting RB.

Well that was 2 years ago. Michigan won the sugar bowl last year

Another big advantage Saban has is the ability to call penalties. Hell he even called off a penalty from 50 yards away when someone in stripes called them for pass interference.

You can't beat that.

I bet that Bama wins it all again this year. They have the best coach who can recruit the best players. I'm a graduate of LSU, but I also happen to be a person who can accept reality. Bama and Saban will always be on top. I hate to tell my fellow LSU fans the truth, but Saban has found a permament home in Alabama. He will retire at Bama. You can book it too.

Dude, they played MICHIGAN.

Maybe MI was decent in the 1990s, but they are bad right now. The Big 10 has sucked large penis for quite awhile now. I guess it's still the only league the SEC gives a modicum of respect to. That is sad, because said respect is undeserved.

same goes for LSU, i was suprieds at how bad LSU's offensive line played (run blocking), and i only watched a little of the bama game, and was suprised (at times) that michigan was getting pressure on aj. having said that, bama looked pretty damn good.

Holy mess...LSU lost 2 days of practice from a hurricane, our game plan was bleh, LSU had 500 yards of offense..that's the most since 2007..a sophmore lead the team in rushing, it was north Texas, were gonna be less motivated. LSU is just as good as bama right now.

Exactly. Mett wasn't a messiah but he threw a hell of a lot better than JJ ever did. Here's to an undefeated matchup on 11/3

Really? I.mean really? We had 300 yards rushing with 7 yards per carry. 300 yards! What did you want? A 1000 yard rusher in one game?

Run blocking was fine. The pass protection needs to improve for sure though.
