I remember a lot of silliness about Oregon and WVU being overrated. Ducks proved themselves a legitimate top 5 team and WVU fared well enough. Is 2012 UM much different from 2011 PSU?

Alabama is the best team in the country. USC beat a high school team 49-10. LSU beat a high school team 41-14. Alabama beat an overrated, yet still dangerous Michigan team 41-14.

OMG that is hilarious

PSU would've been a 9-10 win team last yr had THEY NOT GOTTEN SANDUSKEYED & the coach for 82 yrs NOT BEEN FIRED COME ON MAN!! your better than that statement.

Whether any of you think UM was overrated or not, it was a top 10 match-up and Bama was dominant bottom line

Who looked good, had good stats on D for LSU just wondering LSU fans??

You give yourself WAY too much credit.

Alabama did exactly what everyone, including analysts thought they would do. You have no Dline, no RB's, hobbled WR's, and DR lobbing prayers to Bama DB's. You were destined to fail hard

Hilliard and Blue were great. Copeland had a fine game. Zach looked like a real QB. Very conservative pass calling but he made some throws that give hope. Got whacked hard and had to go to locker room for concussion check, knows what real football is now now. Which leads to OL needs better pass protection. I thought the D could have done better but all things considered (hurricane, 2 days practice, getting up for Mean Green, etc) they did well enough.
300 yards rushing
200 yards passing

Mean Green had 140 passing, 80 rushing, thereabouts.

Reid had an ok night. Both TD's by NT were on him though. He had a great diving INT, and a few solid tackles, but I'm glad he got those two blown assignments out of the way. Mingo and Montgomery were in the backfield all night. Mingo really needs more weight, but damn is he quick. Mills and Collins played solid when Simon stepped off the field. Freak made a few nasty hits. There were like 6 balls batted down by our Dline. Kwon recovered a fumble, and was the first LB off the bench to night. Get to know the name Deion "Debo" Jones.

How so? Alabama would do what they did today to a lot of teams inside the top 20. The talent gap between the top 4 teams and the rest of the country is huge. I had already stated earlier that I believed UM was going to lose by 10-17. I didn't know Al Borges was going to call shite plays the whole fricking game.

ETA- I also believe UM had no business being in the top 10 in the first place.

For Bama, lots of RB rotation & we're gonna see more Lacy looked far from healthy, but no slack with Yeldon & Fowler, Hart also bringing up rear

Norwood had a few nice catches, D. White had a long TD catch, wanna see more of A.Cooper he was great when he played

AJ looked good, sharp

On D got a significant pass rush, Hubbard adds speed, Jesse pretty much controlled the middle of the line but UM really didn't test it mostly sweeps

Mosley had a pick 6, and Milliner had a pick, was saying last yr, but hi8s development pattern now from what I saw tonaight compared to last yr & the growth, after scouts etc get to see his tape at least as long as he keeps it up he will have a shot at a 1st rd grade like Stephon Gilmore, he was phenomenal tonight just lock down in man, whole secondary impressed me more than I thought it would
