Wade Taylor sucks arse, don’t ever compare him to Sears. We had a starter out too…

Anyone who watched that game knew Alabama was much better than A&M. Only reason it was close was because of the officiating. A&M’s entire brand of basketball is based on mucking up the game and depending on the whistle. Couldn’t imagine cheering for that type of shite. Would be miserable.

It’s funny that the team with Mark Sears flopping arse is bitching about fouls and free throws.

Sears is like a bull in a China shop except the size of a pug.

Bama travels a ton, they could have called it a lot.

Just correcting the other dumbass thread. A&M lost because we missed 20 free throws. Also, Bama shot 37 threes and still got to the line 40 times. A&M shot 17. We were taking it to the rim over and over and over again.

A&M without Taylor is a borderline top 20 team who has been allowed to win games by using the Tennessee strategy of “if we commit 40 fouls they’ll only call 20”.

You bodied, grabbed and held on every possession because your coach knew he was outmanned at every possession and that playing a clean game would result in you being run out of the gym if Bama had even an average shooting night.

But thankfully for you a weak officiating crew allowed your coach and the home environment to dictate the calls and flow so as a result you were able to stay in a game you should’ve been blown out of.

It wasn’t a good game. It was a horrible game because your team knew they couldn’t win a clean game, so they decided to play football.

Had that game been in the NCAA tournament you would’ve been in the penalty at 13 mins left in the 1H and your starters fouled out midway through the 2H.

Which is worse - the officiating or the espn announcers talking about buzz's 3 piece suit?

I’d say the highlight was when they were trying to explain away Williams hair implants by saying his daughter asked him to let his hair grow out.

One of the most awkward announcer moments I’ve ever heard.

“No Timmy, your mom’s boobs didn’t just grow overnight, she got a boob job, now never mention this again.”

Thats a fair criticism. They were called once or twice. There was a really bad double dribble on a fast break. This crew stunk

Shows how little the OP knows. Alabama shoots more free throws than almost anyone in the country on average. Because they shoot more paint shots than almost any team in the country. It is a product of the Nate Oats offense, and is pretty consistent year in and year out. They only shoot 3s and shots at the rim. They dont shoot any midrange shots

Even with the 48 free throws shot last night Alabama still averages more FTs per game than A&M which is pretty crazy to think about.

We are a bad free throw shooting team. Have been all year. That’s tournament cancer.

The stats indicate that we’re generally an average free throw shooting team.

Alabama a very good team... and also has a disproportionate amount of whiny bitches in their fan base.

Right. Who would ever complain about a 3 hour basketball game with 58 fouls & 88 free throws?

lost because Alabama is the better team.

It was CLOSE because you milked the refs and made it impossible to play anything even remotely resembling defense in the paint.

That strat will get you bounced in the NCAA Tourney.

Regular season game with our star player out. Might want to tap the brakes a tad.

It looked like a 1980s game vs the Pistons and the refs were calling everything on you. Bama lost a starting guard earlier in the year to injury in Latrell Wrightsell so no whining by the Aggies.

On the bright side we should be ready for Tennessee after that one. That was Vileball at its finest.
