Not hating but its funny their qb situation isn't being discussed.
I'm more concerned about the kickers than the QB's.

Also...didn't Bama just beat TamU 59-0 with an ex-RB/Safety playing QB?

Since you bammers keep pointing out how everyone was wrong about last year, does this mean you are counting on the same amount of luck as you received last year? You easily could have lost about 4 games last year without a lot of luck

Their secondary is pretty shoddy so those numbers are inflated

I only watched the second half of their game on the SECN the other night. The QB play was horrible. They talked like Coker had a good first half. Sims didn't look great in last years spring game though. Spring game aside.......I do think Coker's talent was greatly exaggerated by Jimbo.

I agree Bama's QBs suck but I have faith in Lane Kiffin.

Feel like I've heard this before. They trotted a RB out there last year and went for 3400 28-10. Granted Cooper is gone and their RBs are a bit banged up, but they still reload every year unlike anyone else. They have a stud LT as well.

I'm thinking the QB situation will be equal or better than last year - Oline hopefully gels early - WR's looked pretty good - I hope the TE's get utilized more, I was glad to see Ball stand out - DLine will be great - punter is solid - kicker is still pissing me off - RB's will be solid, glad to see Drake back in action, he was pumped and wanted to contribute more than allowed.

Overall, I think Bama will be lucky again this season and if they can get a fairy to sprinkle magic dust in the jock straps, they may bring home their 25th SEC Championship.

It's a spring game, so stats don't really mean a ton or matter. It's not like a real game where you are prepping all weak to attack the weaknesses of the other teams etc.

What matters is what kind of talent is available, and I am not worried. Plenty of arm, plenty of zip, plenty of accuracy. In other words, Auburn won't be able to stack the box as they did with QB's like McElroy.

The things I worry about most for next year don't even really include QB. I'm worried about the O-Line and the secondary. That seemed to be improved.

That part is true. It was very evident though if you took the time to watch his tape. I tried to tell many Bama fans of this heading into the 2014 season. Pretty clever psychological games Jimbo was playing using the media. It failed though when Kiffin was able to make Sims look better than he was. Which helped get us Barnett, as well as prove to every top dual thread QB that you can play for Saban and Bama.

as far as i know bama is the only team that plays 1 vs 1s in spring game. our d is ahead of the o at this point, so the qb numbers dont surprise me at all. this happens every year, every year you guys think we are gong to suck based on the spring game, and every year we are the best team in the sec. It will be the same in 2015

None of our QBs are anything to write home about right now. Cornwell and Barnett have promise and could be good in a year. We showed last year that we don't need a good QB to have a successful season.

Sims was okay, but Amari Cooper would have made Kiehl Frazier look studly.
