I guess you don't realize how close y'all came to actually losing him.

Both are solid commits still and have confirmed that.

“I opened up my recruiting,” Landry told AuburnUndercover.com.

“I’m visiting a few other schools to see if there is a better situation out there.” Hill

Yes, that's quite solid.

There is still plenty of time to "aggressively persuade" his family.

Guess not. Either way he's in auburn. But again that wasn't the point. Look auburn isn't pulling landry, but this is how its going to be spun any time a recruit says he's 'looking around.'

Both have said since that was posted on ESPN they are solid commits to LSU. In fact Hill posted on his FB one time that he is recruiting for LSU tomorrow and that something to the effect of "do'tn let things misconstrue, im an LSU commit".

Of course they won't say they are closed because then there goes all their free visits they want to take...

Once again, sorry you are way behind on this like ESPN is. Both are going to enjoy the process and take their free visits like any 17/18 year old would want to. They are both huge LSU fans and will not decommit, so don't count on it.

So, they're lying to those two places they interviewed at?

Once again, they're wanting to take their free visits. You think they get them by saying "Im closing up my recruiting, I don't want to hear from anyone"

Recruits play the game more than folks like to think. Landry and Hill are as solid as they come, big LSU fans. Bot have confirmed they are still solid to LSU since this crap posted by ESPN to stir the pot. I wouldn't pass up 5 free visits to anywhere a major school is either.

Doesnt sould like a commit at all from those two, really.

Starting to look like the wall Saban build around the state has fallen.

I knew it was just a matter of time before good players starting looking out of state. Who wants to play for a 8-4 or 9-3 at best team?

And lying is the way to go about it? Telling coaches they are seriously considering them to get alot of free stuff is ok? How many times are coaches bashed for lying, but now it's ok for kids to do it?

How else are they supposed to get free visits? nce again, saying "I'm closing my recruiting, I'm all LSU". Of course not.

Once again, recruits can play the game too. If the coaches want to give them the free visits that's THEIR choice to.

Ahhh... I c. Kinda like coaches have to say things when they are on the job and are considering another behind closed doors. At least progress has been made and folks aren't judgemental about it anymore.

Hell I am a die hard LSU alum and fan and if my son was a 4 or 5 star, I wouldnt want him playing for Miles. I would rather see him as a Gator, Auburn Tiger or even Bama before I would want him to play under Miles. I would want him to play for a coach that could coach him up, not down.

It's anyone's choice to handle themselves as they want to. As long as they're willing to accept the consequences.

Best the Gumps and Barners move on from dreaming about landing these 2 though. Gumps need to focus on Robinson who you actually have a real shot of getting. Barners, sorry, you aren't getting anyone LSU wants in LA this year.

Really? I am calling bull shite. You would really want your kid playing for Gene (S)chizik? What the hell hs he done? You are not a die hard if you are going to throw rhetoric like that out on the board.
