Is that anything like going 1-9 against your superior?

Evans is starting and is one of the few good players on the Titans' bad defense.

Evans isn’t good. Titans arent picking up his 5th year option. The only thing he was good at was getting injured or getting personal foul penalties in critical times.

I believe he was good for multiple goal line stops vs the patriots in January 2020. 2 solos and 1 assist

It's not real common for fans to follow opposing players that closely. It's kind of obsessive. And sad and pathetic.

Almost all LSU fans know about Moses. I only know about the policy b/c it was posted on here about the crazy royal crown declaration and his ‘majesty’ lol

Evans is a good linebacker. He’s not a star. He will probably sign somewhere else and start after this season. There are a lot of reasons the 5th year option doesn’t get picked up and “player bad” isn’t always the most accurate assumption. It is fair to say that Titans aren’t committed to locking him up long term but it doesn’t look like they’re benching or cutting him either.

Let’s be grown men here. Stop talking all hyperbolic like a teenage boy with no mental seasoning that comes with age.

The Titans sending Evans a message "play better if you want to stick". Nothing wrong with that. The Titans problem isn't all on Evans. Hell their defense is the reason they can't get it done.

Their GOAT receiver, Jamarr Chase certainly recognized... He basically told their entire fanbase to kiss his arse.. Didn't trust his career to a man who can't speak English and I don't blame hin. He wanted NO part of 55-17 and got out while it was safe..

Seems Moses is the latest in a long line of linebackers that become busts in the NFL

How can a UDFA be a bust in the NFL? That doesn't make sense.

You are right but it’s usually because you are not a good player and not worth the money for the 5th year.

And you just admitted they are unlikely to try and resign him?

Sounds like exactly what I would want to get out of my first round pick. Major draft capital spent to only get 4 years of him and then let him walk for nothing. That’s the definition of a bust.

I pray that this is the thread that will allow LSU fans to finally get over the fact that Dylon Moses told them and LSU to frick OFF!!!!

No... being drafted #4 overall and straight up cut after 3 years is the definition of bust

Yep and he’s done nothing outside that sequence.

You'll forget about this thread and start another one about how Alabama only wins due to superior talent.

Looking back over the last decade - the Titans are absolutely terrible at picking guys in the first round. Their best picks are Lewan (constantly injured or getting personal fouls but otherwise good), Jeffrey Simmons, Corey Davis (meh) and probably Evans next, lmao.

What a lot of are forgetting is to be a bust, you must be drafted in the 1st round. I guess we might have more, but we also have way more drafted in 1st round than you!

Don't forget:
The Biscuit
DeMero Ryans
Mack Wilson

What you want out of 1st 3 rounds draft pick is someone you can reliably start for 3-4 years. They got that with Evans. Teams hope they draft a star but they’ll take reliable starter too.

The decision on whether to keep a guy who is just reliable starter caliber has as much to do with the whole roster cap situation as it does with the player. Evans will probably get a solid pay day to fill in a gap somewhere else if he doesn’t get injured in his contract year. Titans may resign him if the price is right.

I guess it is a slight to say that your current employer doesn’t think you’re worth what it would take to keep you but if that involves someone else thinking that price is right for you then who cares?

Additionally it may be cheaper for the Titans to not take the option and resign him because of how they can account for the money. Unlikely but not unheard of…Evans production simply does not indicate he’s on a one way ticket to retirement from the NFL

For a 1st round pick? No that’s a bust if they are out of the program in 3-4 years.
