Bama will always be up there with Saban. I do think they lose to LSU this year however, just because it is in Tiger stadium and LSU's talent level is for once equal to Bama. We will see.

I can see Bama and LSU in the playoffs.
It was equal in 2011, 2013 and 2014.

I believe Bo will be good but another Henry? Little to soon for that.

I'm not anticipating he will be (I don't rule it out, either).

I'm anticipating he will be a really solid back, which based of his recruiting profile and our running back history the last decade seems like a pretty solid bet (IF he stays healthy, which is my biggest concern).

I'm sure they do but we're still trying to find the next Adrian Peterson. It's just not that easy.

Not to be pompous, but since 2008 our running backs all pretty much are NFL running backs (argue about their NFL success or failure in another place).

Coffee, Ingram, Richardson, Lacy, Yeldon, Henry

So, floor is 2nd/3rd team all-SEC. Ceiling is Heisman. Seems like a pretty reasonable range considering all the factors.

2011 maybe, not in 13 or 14. Not arguing, but stand by my opinion; I think LSU wins this year and that is bama's only loss. Ole Miss has lost to much.

I understand. So are all of ours. So are the current two RBs. We still haven't found another AD.

This as much as anything is what separates Bama's top-end success from the rest of us.

Well, of our last 5 running backs

- 2 Heisman winners
- 1 3rd place Heisman

So, 3 of the last 5 starting running backs have gone to New York. The other 2 were 2nd round picks.

My point is, I don't expect Bo to win the Heisman, but if he is just a pretty good back he will be the worst back we have had since 2008.

And it is a relatively new adaptation by Saban.

No I get it. Ya'll have had some good backs. We have two active Pro Bowl RBs in the NFL right now and recruits flocking to OU to be the next AD, and he hasn't materialized in spite of how great our RBs continue to be.

I think we give y'all a game this year.

We are absolutely loaded.

I'm not saying we win, but I guarantee you its close and will be Bama's hardest game of the year.

There is a section on 247 sports called Team Talent. It has teams rated in order of the talent each team has based on the rankings of their players coming out of high school. It is not updated for 2016, however you can still pull the 2015 numbers. It has Alabama rated as the #1 team with a total of 18-5 star players and 49 four star players. The next closest SEC team is LSU at #5 with 5 - 5 star players and 42 - 4 star players. Alabama only lost 2 - 5 star players this year and added 3 - 5 star players in this last recruiting class. My point is that there is no SEC team that has near the talent this Alabama team has. That does not mean that they will win every game, however you can expect this team to be in the running for another championship until the very end.

I disagree.

I think 2016 LSU has almost as much talent as 2016 Bama.

LSU is loaded no one is disagreeing....

However, your OL and QB play was not as advertised last year to say the least....and Miles has shown complete inability to try and come up with a plan on offense that can exploit Bama's weaknesses. Your OL and LF7 got completely abused in last year's game.

What do LSU fans think will be different this year on the offensive side of the ball?

I agree 100%. And this can be said most years - no other opponent matches talent for talent with Bama like LSU.

When talent is equal it comes down to coaching.

I have confidence in our staff, can you say the same?

Alabama has been able to win titles without Adrian Peterson. I don't think anybody on the planet believes Derrick Henry is going to be an Adrian Peterson at the next level. Bo Scarborough doesn't need to be Adrian Peterson, I believe is the larger point.

Not sure, I was just saying I think we can match up talent wise with Bama in 2016, something no other teams in the conference, or the country for that matter, can really say.

Now, will/can the LSU coaching staff utilize this talent?

I always expect the LSU game to be like that and more times than not it is.
