He has some things to work on but I like him.

I'll let him finish the season before I evaluate his body of work. So far I'd give him an incomplete.

If I knew how much Saban was dictating his coaching I could give a more accurate answer. Based on what I know 5/10. Wouldn't lose sleep if he left.

tough crowd, dude should get respect for turning a RB into a playoff QB.

If he can be credited with Milroy’s progress, then he’s done well.

He started out really bad but ended up getting better and had a strong season. He can still have his moments where he leaves you scratching the old noggin but I guess we all have those moments lol.

He did a great job turning things around during the season. Not sure why he brought Tyler Buchner in but no one is perfect. I give him a solid A.

Rough start but once he figured out what he had, he fixed the game plan. Once Milroe started running, it opened the offense up. We’ve cut down on the offensive penalties where we averaging over 10+ a game.
Edit: against Georgia I have a feeling Saban got in his ear in the 4th quarter to stop running up the middle. When that happened we were able to march down field.

Pawl threw him under the bus and ran over him about 3 times. When I heard that shite I started to like him more.

The OL pass blocking was so horrendous the first part of the year, it was hard to judge. Starting a new QB and a freshman Left Tackle, you have to take your lumps. As the OL improved, Rees was able to scheme better, and the offense came around some. I think he'll be okay.

He is coaching in the college football playoff which only 4 OCs can say that. I would think he’s doing ok. Not to mention his QB was benched early in the season and got better every game once he returned as the starter. Milroe will be a heisman favorite next year too.

Upgrade over BoB, which was a low bar. He's is a bit handcuffed on what he can call, but has adjusted decently. He is no Sark, but isn't terrible.

What exactly are you unhappy with?
Sarks are not exactly falling off trees.

The question you have to ask yourself is… Has your offense shown positive development over the year?
The obvious answer is, of course, yes.
Hard to complain about positive results.
Lots of coaches are too hard headed to adjust to their available talent. Bama has done well adjusting to the talent.

I'd agree with incomplete. He adjusted the playbook to a sandlot offense to accommodate what Milroe can do. I'd like to see him with a competent passing QB which is something I don't think he's ever had in his career as an OC.

Couldn’t have said it better myself.

Did you see how much Milroe improved? Rees must be a heck of a qb coach. He schemed receivers open all year too, so I think also a good OC, but Milroe still doesn’t see the field well enough to take advantage of it
