These haters remind me of the bitches from 17 years ago pounding their chest saying Saban wouldn't stay at Bama for more than a year or two ....
How did that work out for ya ....

They are doing the same thing we did when we hired Les Miles after Saban They will learn the same way we did, there is no replacing Saban. Your program is gonna take a step back no matter how you look at it. I would temper your expectations a lot

What was the feeling like in the board room when options 1 & 2 turned Bama down? I’m assuming you were in the war room right?

Do you have confirmation that this is true?

No he doesn’t. He wants it to be true, so to him it is.

You WERE Alabama.

Saban put you back on the map and brought you out the football dark ages post-Bryant.

Saban was Alabama.

Saban was Alabama.
And Bryant put Bama back in the map and brought us out of the football dark ages post-Frank Thomas.

He’s actually bama’s 4th choice. You’re delusional if you don’t think there was agent communication with Lanning, Stark and Norvell. There’s a reason they all came out at the same time saying they were staying where they are.
You’re in for a painful 3-4 years until Bama has to move on and eventually hire Kiffin.

The very fact that it only took less than 48 hours means that Alabama only really targeted one coach, and Alabama hired him

1) recruitin
2) saban fatigue
3) fan interest
4) momentum
5) less coaching experience

1) not sure about that
2) for the rest of the country
3) for Alabama fans? Nope
4) probably for the moment, but after that....
5) well he is younger

Most likely Alabama will only win 1-2 NC the next 5-6 years... after all our new (and inexperienced coach) went 3-0 against Oregon and 2-0 against Texas,
