Boring isn’t the word. You still hang on every game and each championship win is just as good.
BUT the overall season experience became a little less enjoyable. Every win became more like a “thank goodness we didn’t lose” feeling with each passing year. The rare losses were amplified so much they began to outweigh the pure enjoyment of wins. Felt more like relief than joy.

Did the excitement levels taper off as you won more and more?
There were so many big games throughout each season before you ever get to the NCG. The West was brutal in that Saban era and just making the finals was filled with test after test. Looking at trophies doesn't explain BAMA's dominance for a decade and a half. Rivals, SECCGs, and just a tough SEC schedule were a huge part of each year's journey. Nobody had a target on their back through the season as the number one team in the country more than BAMA for 16 years.
Start to finish it was one hell of a ride.

It was glorious and it never got old for me. But, it did spoil the fanbase really bad. Winning a national title on average every three years will spoil any fanbase. But Saban was able to keep the pace up for 15 years. I am grateful for the run, the run is over, Saban's tenure is over. Now it's time for a reset and see what happens.

Draggies are so desperate to experience a championship they are begging people in the forums to tell them how it feels.
This has to be one of the most desperate pleas for help I have ever seen.
OP is like....
Please oh please Bama goods of football.
Bless me with how it feels to be relevant in mens sports.
Please oh please!

Wow your desperation is out of this world.
Daddy bama is going to school you on and off the field.

They didn't get bored, but they sure got entitled. They are still dragging their jaws in disbelief.
Jeez, the UTwinx inferiority complex is really overflowing right now. Maybe you guys will win one with Archie. Probably not, but maybe.

Just curious to see if any of y'all ever got bored with it all.
Does President DJT ever get bored with winning?
Neither did we.

Never experienced this tbh.
A loss does suck more but beating the shite out of other teams was always fun as hell.

Bama fans, what was it like winning a bunch of championships in a short time frame?
It was pretty sweet. You should try it some time.

Did the excitement levels taper off as you won more and more? Or, was it the same level of hype in 2020 as it was in 2009? I know this probably varies from person to person.
I had four head coaches during my 4 years at Bama. The best bowl game I went to was the Independance Bowl against Iowa State. I can't tell you how many times I walked out of Bryant Denny after watching us lose.
The excitement level never tapered off for me. I savored every single championship game (win or loss) after dealing with an absolute dumpster fire from '99-'03. The Rose Bowl against Texas was the best but our last championship was just as good. Hell, the Rose Bowl vs Michigan was awesome as I took the whole family out there and made a vacation out of it. Loss sucked but was a great game.

The first couple are a total max out of euphoria and relief and joy...
After the first couple, it started feeling like the fan experience was just royalty and expectation and peace... But atop those, there was an aggression and a taste for blood feeling about it. Like, I've had steak now. But now that I've had it, I have come to realize steak never gets old.
That was my experience anyway. I'm in my mid 40's so I didn't get to live the Bryant years. Just grew up living under the same premise. "Bama really actually is God's favorite team" type me mentality. I admit it. Even now I'd tell you in my heart if God HAD a football team, which of course He doesn't, but if he did? It's us.

It’s so pathetic
bruh a lot of teams in this league do...mine included. I think it was a fair non trolling question. I can think of a few teams that have runs of success and thats it. UF, UGA, Bama. Everyone else that has won basically got one and then had to wait several years.
For A&M, Carolina, Arkansas etc we havent had that. 2010-2013 for us was success and honestly by 2013 I kind of took it for granite...wish I hadn't
