Yep, in 1990 (although they don't play quarters in college basketball):

UNLV, coached by Jerry Tarkanian, won the national title with a 103–73 victory in the final game over Duke, coached by Mike Krzyzewski. In doing so, UNLV set the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament record for largest margin of victory in a championship game. UNLV's win marks the last time a school from a non-power conference has won the championship game.

Duke came back and beat 'em in the semis the very next year...

Well, you certainly post like someone that's in a confined space and on medication - either that or just an idiot that has nothing better to do. Which is it?

It's neither of those things.

This is what you call a false dichotomy. This thread isn't even about me anyways. It's about Alabama and Nick Sabans' imminent recruiting collapse.

What year should we expect this collapse to begin so I can prepare?

I never implied it was about you. Forum rules prevents me from making a thread and calling you out. I saw your post which have followed the same pattern over the last few days and was curious about your well being.

Imminent as in immediate or next season or the season after, etc? If I'm not mistaken this maybe Alabama's highest ranked class so I'm curious when the downfall will be obvious to the non-idiots.

After all, you have to be right at some point, right Sparky?

Before the NC was all that mattered. Now the individual games matter more. They change as they to to cope.

I hope Saban pisses off some rats to spew his scandals all over the media.

Nick Sabans probably won't even be the coach of the Crimson Tide next year.

You heard it here first.

How many have been processed by Saban for this to not already happen? Does Terry Bowden still have the ledger for all of the paid AU players?

Hope springs eternal for you Rabern.

You said, "Nick Sabans probably won't even be the coach of the Crimson Tide next year."

Nick Sabans isn't the coach now, nor will he be next season. Therefore, your 'probably' is an accurate prognostication - Nick Sabans will not be the coach next year.

Nick Saban, however, will be the coach next year.

I've never been to a carnival in my entire life.

That isn't germane to this thread, btw.

Bama has Coach Saban and fantastic talent... I wonder if some amount of recent attrition isn't part of Saban processing.

So do 20 other schools. All Bama had going for then was insane momentum. That was significantly slowed in the championship game.

It’ll be interesting to see how this plays out.

One game for the NC has slowed Bama's momentum? What about the losses the other years? Didn't seem to have much effect. You do know Saban has lost a few games since coming to Bama. Just not very many to your team.
