I would expect Bama fans would be happy for Jalen if he wins the Heisman, but what if he won the Heisman and then beat the Tide in the playoffs? I have to think there will be some grumbling in Bamaland considering that everybody in the world thinks that Tua is superior to Jalen, and that Bama has the greatest receiver corps in college football history, and that Oklahoma's defense is inferior to Bama's even with the linebacker injuries. Where would the blame lay? I guess it would be with the referees, like it was with "the illegal pick play".

Pretty much all of us are fine with Hurts winning it.
LSU fans are worse than Democrats when it comes to trying to manufacture hate where none exists.

We'd probably be mad, and it'd probably happen because our defense isn't good.

All I see is Alabama fans telling you that we hope for nothing but the best for Jalen. While, Louisiana St8 and Auburn fans keep trying to manufacture some kind of hate. I’m not shocked, you haven’t been able to manufacture wins over us so why not lies.

I suppose it would depend on how?
I mean, if Tua throws for 600 yards and 8 TDs and we lose, no one with a brain is going to think we had the crappier QB.

I could put up crazy stats against those defenses OU plays.
The Heisman voters should have figured out by now that whoever is the OU QB will put up crazy stats. If they haven't, then a OU QB will win 10 Heismans in a row.

It’s going to be LSU vs OU in the natty this year. Should be an awesome game

I think we have done this thread about 5-6 times but I don’t know a single Bama fan that would be upset . He is a class act and a Bama legend . I think the story line is set up for him to win it also . Tua , Burrow also deserve consideration as well

I’m nervous for all the Bama sisters out there when LSU pounds that arse this year.

Why the Jalen support? Let’s get behind Joe

Same way I felt the last week, and the week before that, and the week before that.
I'll be happy for him.
I'll be happy for him.

I know, I know, another Bama thread by an LSU fan. Jalen looks to have a real shot at the Heisman this year. How will y’all feel, as Bama fans, if he ends up winning it?
You're asking how I'd feel if a graduate of my school wins the most prestigious award in college football? Seriously?
Yes, I'd rather have our current QB win, but if it's not him, I damn sure hope it's Hurts.

The Heisman is a popularity contest. What I find interesting is that Oklahoma and Ohio State have the easiest paths to the playoffs, and they each have transferred quarterbacks from the SEC. Alabama is very good, but they have a much less difficult road to the playoffs than Oklahoma. I would think most Alabama fans are just concerned with running the gauntlet to the playoffs again.
I watched Oklahoma carefully this weekend. It would be nice to see what they do against top flight competition. Their wide receiving corps is to my mind just shy of Alabama's, but in the Big 12 they dominate, especially with Hurts being a mature quarterback at the helm. I am dumbfounded how these teams let CeeDee Lamb open for a second, but of course far easier said than done.
