I don’t remember much LSU garb for the same reasons.

Back when SOS was coaching FL and they were winning big you saw Florida fans around here everywhere that you'd NEVER seen before...People wearing Florida stuff...flags flying on their cars and on their houses etc....
I was in a store here one day and in front of me this girl about late 20's wearing a Florida sweatshirt....I said to her you must be a Gator fan...she said yes I am...I said I wasn't much of a sports fan (wink) and I asked her where the U of Florida was located? She looked blank faced for a few seconds and then said........Tallahassee.

No other fan base has the likes of the infamous Harvey Updyke, Michelle Pritchett, John Phillips or Brian Downing. It is a false equivalancy to claim that all schools have such fans. That is just not true. Hell, the abovementioned knuckleheads are bama royalty.

I live in Alabama and almost EVERY time I am wearing an LSU shirt I get a comment from a Bama fan. Sometime just a "Roll Tide" which is OK. They get a "Tiger Bait" right back. It is when I am minding my own business and a Bama fan starts ranting at me about LSU football that makes me hate Bama fans.
