No, seems Oats is a gapping vagina crying before the game. Got his arse handed to him today. Talked shite…got shite.

Uh-huh. Sure. That's what it seems like. No doubt.

A complaint filed by multiple women, including students, alleged that Golden sent unwanted, explicit messages, engaged in stalking behavior, and made unwanted sexual advances over a 12-month period. But muh Oats is a meanie, lol.

Yes. He opposes the practice. However, that IS what is happening in the game today. To not participate would be stupid. It's like Dabo Swinney claiming he wouldn't participate in NIL because he doesn't agree with it. Disagree with it all you want, but this is the reality now. You play the hand you're dealt.

Nate Oats is the only coach taking a GLeague player and starting him mid season. wtf are you talking about? Who else in the SEC is doing this? Who does Oats so desperately need to compete with?

Cold shooting Alabama + long athletic physical opponent = blow out. This isn’t new math.

Perhaps Oats should focus less on bitching and complaining and more on preparing for the opponent. The team looks completely unprepared.

Wildcat, you trolling?

I expect a lot greater basketball knowledge from UK fans than to think “Bama looks lost.” This game was set in stone from the very beginning and Bama’s only shot to win was to make 60% of our 3s (as posted last night in the Basketball thread). Bama wasn’t lost…our style and personnel can’t beat Goldy when he has his style and personnel. A fan of a team that’s lost what, 4 straight to Bama should be able to understand bad matchups.

Bro, Baylor is playing a guy that got drafted in the NBA. Several teams are playing G-league or international professional league players including AU and others. The only way to get this fixed is to burn it to the ground until Congress fixes it. If Oats has to contribute to make that happen, so be it.

ETA: Bama wasn’t the first SEC team to sign a professional player. We were just the first to sign one that had a contract with a specific professional league (NBA), despite him never having played for that league. NCAA needs to stop arbitrarily granting eligibility to various professional leagues and not others. The rules need to be changed and applied to all athletes from all professional leagues.

Not true. The NCAA created this mess before Bediako returned when they ruled a different former NBA draft pick and former G league player eligible. It is just another example of the NCAA being incompetent and inconsistent.

quote:

Key Details on Nnaji's Eligibility:

Background: Nnaji was the 31st overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft by the Detroit Pistons but spent the following seasons playing for FC Barcelona in Europe.

The Ruling: The NCAA permitted him to play because he never signed an NBA contract or played in an NBA game, which are the main criteria for ineligibility. Impact: The decision caused confusion and backlash from other coaches regarding the "gray area" of eligibility rules and the shifting landscape of college basketball.

Debut: Nnaji made his debut in early January 2026, shortly after the ruling. His eligibility has set a new precedent for international players with professional experience competing in the NCAA

Bama had an Euro Pro in 2014.

What does Auburn have to do with any of this?

Oats is a little sawed off miniscule man. Who's system is fun to watch, but he'll never win a natty with it.

Uh, it wasn't cold shooting. Bama shot 41% from 3. It was 18 TOs to Florida's 2 (very bad ball security and very passive D) and 33 boards to Florida's 44. Gators shot just 23% from 3.

Undersized Auburn beat the Gators with much better strategy against their bigs than Oats employed. Even Missouri beat them.

A little misleading, given the small sample size. They didn’t need to shoot 3s at all to win

International pro leagues are equivalent to College. If it were UF with the G-League kid and not Bama you would be on the completely other side. Stfu.

You’re so deep in your feelings, you don’t even realize what you just said.

Despite what you said being completely false, let’s just assume it’s true and add a little reason to it for discussion. If the international professional leagues are the same as college (they’re not and EU one is considered better than G-league), that should mean a player who has played 4 years in them and is now 22-23 years old should have exhausted his eligibility. Yet the NCAA has granted multiple of those players eligibility. Even your inaccurate statement would still mean those players shouldn’t be eligible.
