I don't think I've ever seen a defense so poorly coached. Just staring. Wrong number on field. It's priceless. Worth watching again for offseason.

So Bama loses to A&M, but LSU will beat them? That game is late in the year. It was close last year. Both teams should have any problems fixed(in theory) by then. I wouldn't count that as a win either.

LSU has recruited and prioritized speed in their front seven over size. Go watch the difference in the ability of our D-ends and linebackers to catch Manziel in the backfield compared to yours. Night and day. That's what you have to have in order to stop that offense. Bama has been built specifically to stop the traditional pro-style, run-first PA pass offense. They do that well. A&M's version of the HUNH, not so much.

Now, go watch the Ole Miss - A&M game and see how many times we put JFF on his arse.

We were lucky to win that game.

Chasing Manziel in the backfield is exactly why Bama got owned so bad in the first quarter and a half. Bama didn't need to chase him around to hold him. Which, holding him is what they did for the rest of the game. For some reason, at the beginning of the game the defense was completely undisciplined. i.e. running around behind the line of scrimmage trying to sack JFF. Don't know if it was coaching or a problem with the players, but speed wasn't the problem. Once the adjustments were made aTm was held very well.

Call me crazy, but despite how the game turned out last year, I trust Saban and Smart to figure out a game plan that works for JFF.

It was a great game. A&M won two quarters, Bama won two quarters. In the end A&M made the key play to win (and Bama made a big mistake with the offsides). If you play out that final sequence again it could easily go the other way.

Should be another epic game in C-Stat on 9/14. Glad I have tickets.

In the Aggies first game in the SEC, UF beat the Aggies at their tackle box they call stadium. If only the mighty SEC West could have not shite the bed against the Aggies, then we would not have to deal with this shite.

Not sure if serious...

But, just in case you are, I guess I'll just say that A&M was outscored 24-9 after the first quarter. Doesn't matter in the long run because that's why you play all four, but it does indicate that Alabama got it together enough to contain JFF, if not completely stop him.

Alabama was caught flat-footed early and paid the price for it, hats off to A&M, but without a TJ Yeldon fumble at A&M's 22 in the 4th, we'd be talking about other things right now. Possibly a fantastic comeback orchestrated by JFF, but certainly not "Bama lucky to be close".

I remember just before going into the LSU-State game being shocked at the score. They were really taking it to em'. I knew Bama would probably come back and make it a ballgame but it was regardless pretty impressive for the new kids on the block to be having the defending champs on their heels in their own backyard

It's on you tube you jerky mother frickers. Watch the game. The crew basically say says Sabans team is clueless most of the time. Time outs. 2 many men. 2 little men. It's was a little sad how lost they were. But luckily. 2 bombs kept it from being ou route

I'm dead serious. If Alabama wins in CS, it will be in a shootout. And the only way for Bama to win a shootout is for AJ to be on his game, which I expect him to be. But he was not in the first matchup. And if he's off for just a couple of series Bama will be behind 2 or 3 touchdowns early. I actually see a very similar game as last year unfolding.

If Bama fans have this "I think I'll just trust Saban and Smart" idea then they just have refused to objectively watch/rewatch the first game and are in denial. It's silly to think you will hold them down with the style of athlete Saban has recruited over the years, going heavy all the way.

Did Saban not have them prepared? How in the hell can a team come out flat-footed after what A&M had done to teams offensively in the weeks leading up to that game?

Hell, A&M was just continuing what they had done to every other team previous. There's no flat-footedness to it... it was exactly how A&M had played every other team.

Alabama will win the game and it won't be close either. JFF will score no doubt. It's just the way he is. But Alabama's offense was the problem last game, not the defense. Alabama has 2 weeks to prepare, and on top of that, A&Ms defense will be complete shite this year. In all honesty, my final score prediction is something to the effect of 41-21. Just because I know A&M has to get some kind of points just because their offense is so explosive regardless of defense.

That is unless they played Alabama 2011. But I'm hoping for a good game either way. As much as I hated last year's game, it kept me on edge, and for once in a while have me a good rush from the competitiveness of the game.
