I'm not going to comment on the game itself, other than DJ Durkin should have been fired on the spot. Those were 2 really, really, bad teams playing last Saturday, the worse one lost obviously.

Regarding this weekend, I had a good time (other than the pain and suffering I endured during the game). Loved the eagle, drop Aubie, is too complicated.

Auburn has a beautiful campus, we walked all over the place, and felt very welcome. People were nice during tailgating, and overall, it is a great atmosphere.
Game festivities were pretty good. Other than the a-hole student who yelled obscenities to us-which I actually didn't hear, because I tend to tune people out, but po'd my hubby, (cops were called by another Gator fan, and the issue was resolved), every Auburn fan around us was great. We talked with the people in front of us all game.

Here are some pics:

Hubby was commenting if any of our remaining non Gator kids cannot get into UF, he wouldn't mind them going to Auburn.

Go Gators! Cannot wait till the start of basketball.

I am glad that you had a good time, I think everyone in Auburn likes the Gators for the most part.Sorry that your team didn't come to play.

I think fans from both schools knew that the teams were kind of bad, so there wasn't any smack talk going around.

I just wish we would have caught at least one punt, or freaking let it roll for crying out loud.

Wrong. I was there and I hate the gators. I was nice though, even hung out with the fam of a gator player.

I never really cared too much for the Auburn campus. All the buildings had that "brand new, cookie cutterish" look to them in my opinion. I've always had a blast when I visited Auburn though. I've only had one bad experience with them (the '08 game when J-Lee led the comeback), but I was young, drunk, and acting like a douche. I instigated that one. Other than that, I've really enjoyed my time visiting there. Not too much to do, but a great SEC environment.

Glad you had a good time. We all hate those students/fans that are obnoxious. Glad he was taken care of properly.

I look forward to more UF AU games. Come back anytime

I used to hate'em.

But when Spurrier moved on, I learned to like both Spurrier and the Gators a little.

I spend a lot of time in Gatorcountry, but mainly at the den, not much at swamp gas.

I went to B'ham Sunday after the game, and flew in Monday to Austin. I've been trying to catch up with life today.

This is my second Auburn game loss. Good grief, I guess I can try next year, and think third one is the charm, but I don't know I can be a little superstitious.

to the Auburn people.

Two things I noticed from the UF fanbase this past weekend. A lack of jorts, and a lack of girls. And I don't mean from a "good looking" type standpoint...I mean every group of Gators I saw walking around had 3 guys to 1 girl.
