If Miami can't pry Cristobal away from Oregon, they are throwing money at Lane... so this thread may be bumped in a couple of weeks.

Better an overpaid child than an overpaid never-has-been with a 2-18 lifetime achievement vs Top 10 programs.

personally I think he's a good coach and would be dangerous at a place to which he could recruit well (perhaps his achilles heel). As previously noted, Kiffin and Riley are the 2 candidates I am glad did not go to LSU.

Oh it's too late for that...at this point it doesn't matter if he leaves tonight. You guys made it sound like he would be on the first train out of town before the buzzer sounded on the Egg Bowl. Of course he will leave eventually, and you all will stay in a panic until he does.

About the 10-win season thing for Ole Miss: it was the first 10-win REGULAR season, not the first 10-win season. Just for the record: OM went 10-1 in 1955; 10-1 in 1959; 10-0-1 in 1960; 10-0 in 1962; 10-2 in 1971; 10-3 in 2003 and 10-3 in 2015.

The difference is that the previous 10-win seasons required a bowl to get the tenth win. If OM wins its NY6 bowl this year, it will earn its first 11-win season.

Agreed. Brian Kelly doesn't strike fear into anyone in the SEC.

You just worry about how long it will take for Teddy Ruxpin to get ran out of Baton Rouge.

This is a false narrative that was produced by dead-end Baton Rouge sports radio personalities who don't know shite.
