I could care less if it was my grandmother on the other side. We’re playing for an opportunity at a national championship and you’re the opponent. I want to bury you. It is a cool moment for the family but I thought the celebration while the game was going on was a bit much.
If that had been MY brother I would have punched him as he ran by...
And then told the ump.... (and my mom) .... that he hit me first.

Yeah and he still didn’t celebrate. This shortstop for OU might as well been doing jump and jacks out there

I take it your family doesn’t love you or care enough about you to show support when you do something of any significance.

The only thing I’m saying is that I don’t agree with his brother that was actively on field acting as giddy as he did in the moment of the game. How do you think his teammate aka the pitcher felt seeing that? I know how I would’ve felt.
You’re not going to find many that agree with you. Anyone with any kind of human emotion will think that’s a cool moment. He prob gives a shite way more on celebrating his brother than a random pitcher on his team.

And wow, no one can imagine how hard this was for the parents. It was so cool they got the lineup cards!!
To put 2 boys in college and then have them meet in final 4. Those parents did a lot great to get them to this point.

And that’s okay. Everyone’s entitled to their opinion and I do realize 95% of the people on this board never played a competitive sport a day in their life lmao

Video of parents talking about it, not a dry eye to be found

Call me old fashioned but I don’t like celebrating the opponent hitting a homer against you in the CWS even though the game was out of reach. You can be happy for him but to act giddy like that is a bit much. Big 12 energy
Only a truly miserable person would post this in response to that video.

I'm pretty sure the Branch family could care less what anyone else thought about that moment. But just about everyone thought it was great.

I can think of a lot of things to call you. But old fashioned ain't one of them, hole of arse.

Playing a sport or not in your life has zero to do with the topic

Hey I just want to add that I went to the first OU Georgia game up there(I couldn't make this one) and the Georgia fans were nothing but awesome. I can't wait to get to Athens for that football game in a few months.

This is absolutely amazing. As a dad of 2 boys and a brother who’s very close to his brother, this hits a little different. I love that they got to make that kind of a memory.

Keep doubling down on stupid, we’re here for it.

Cool moment
But if I got to throw a pitch against my brother then I'm either striking him out or plunking him.

I have 19 y/o & a 16 y/o.
Showed them this video & they both immediately said the same thing : naw, we’re fighting on the field first
Not my proudest dad moment, lol

There's 2 other brothers in that family also. Younger boys, maybe 17 and 15? Will be interesting to see where they play. Might already be recruits, not sure.
