I'd say the pool is ok. I guess it depends on where you fall on the Pitino availability
Buzz, matta, prohm, Hoiberg, and maybe musselman can find themselves new jobs. And then we get to the next level down with people at VT thinking they have an inside tract at Cronin

Buzz would only move for A&M because of alma mater reasons, right? He doesn't factor in for Bama
I think Musselman is overrated, Matta is old as frick, Hoiberg is the Chip Kelly of basketball, etc.
Bama could go get Pitino, I guess, but they stuck their nose up at Pearl, so that'd surprise me.
But Forbes or John Brannen seem like most likely scenario guys

Actually, that was very shortsighted on Auburn's part. Like Saban did in the '17 Iron Bowl and pruposely lose the Iron Bowl, he ensured Malzahn's job, Pearl should have done the same.
Now, instead of 2 games a year against a aimless bunch, you now have to face a hungry team ready for a rebound (pun intended)

Yea I don't think Buzz plays in for us at all. That's A&M specific.
I think Prohm is us specific.
No way with Pitino.
Forbes is my #1 outside the mainstream choice. The Brannen thing.....he's been impressive building NKU, but I dunno. A little fresh for me.
