1,473 yds and 20 rushing touchdowns is in the NFL right now and losing that experience line you guys had is going to be hard to replace just saying.

Pendry was an OL coach for 25 years in the NFL. I would say he was a bit more than "pretty good", and certainly among the best in college football before he retired

Remind me again what he was doing before he got the Bama job? He just got lucky and capitalized by piggy backing Bucket Bob's evaluations and coaching techniques combined with Saban and Cochran's S&C program. I was being fair if not generous when I said he was a pretty good OL coach. And just think you guys have actually downgraded from Pendry.

So you're saying Bama had a better offensive line last year?

I said before the season started before anyone knew Cam was so good that the O-line would carry them to a 10 win season. That's pretty good after a 6-6 regular season the prior year.

Subtract every yard of that and Auburn still outrushed Bama last year.

What about Ingram's production? Subtract his yardage and AU still butt rapes UA w/o Cam's stats.

what a poor attemp to put words in my mouth... of course our OL was better... but their OLs were way better than ours with Pendry as their coach in 08 and 09.

this really isn't directed at you, and shouldn't be an excuse for anyone, but their OL evaluation over the last couple years is suspect... some of that falls bac on pendry, of course.

In '08, absolutely. In '09, too close to call. We still outrushed 'Bama that season as well.

anyone who watched those two units operate knew who the better OL was in 09... not even close. Our RT position was a flat out joke and cost us games (especially UGA).

That's actually a much better video to show how fricking poorly prepared/schemed the LSU defense was against Auburn.

The defensive line got no push at all to disrupt the 2 pullers. Then, we had a DB taking on the 1st guy, and Kelvin Sheppard getting there once the back was 5 yards down field.

440 yards rushing by Auburn. Nice job Chavis. And people think we are actually going to stop Oregon. Lol.

Never said anything different. Just said that as far as talent goes there were many more talented units.

We were 7-5 that year. You must be thinking of Bama's 6-6 season in 2007. I thought we'd win 10 and lose to Arky, beat LSU and have a shot to beat Bama. I was more worried about Arky than anybody else last year.

2 OGs pulling on one play vs C and OG pulling on one play. Great argument!
