In the rotation:
Heron, Purifoy, Harper, McLemore are Freshmen. Wiley is a HS Sr/Freshman.
Spencer and Brown are Sophs.
Lang is a Jr.
Dunans is a Sr. Johnson and Smith are Grad Transfers.
Basically only 4 players that played last year. No one knows what to do yet

I thought LSU basketball was bad, but Missouri has the worst fan base in the SEC.

In all seriousness, starting 4 freshmen tends to be problematic and inconsistent when they aren't all top 10 draft picks like at Kentucky. All season long we've seemed to play one half up to our potential and another half like dog shite. Haven't put together a full 40 minutes all season. Right now there seems to be a mental block with our guys since this losing skid began. I fully expect once we get a W (hopefully tonight) that the team settles down and ends up close to .500 in conference.
There's been some coaching issues too, but nobody ever thought that Pearl was an elite x's and o's coach. What he is is an elite recruiter and he's brought in an unprecedented amount of talent into the program in a short amount of time. These freshmen that are making freshman mistakes will mature, and there's more talented coming in after them. The program will be fine and on talent alone I expect starting next year to be consistently top to in the conference. Pearl may not be the guy to get us over the hump from "good" to the type of team that wins tournament games. But we'll deal with that when we get there and for now I will enjoy watching Pearl lay a solid arse foundation of talent,because that's better than we've had in a long time.

For individuals, no. It's a little different when 80% of your starting lineup is freshman and most of your key backups are in their 1st year with the program as well
