What? We've lost twice in something like 70 years

14-2 in the last 68 years. 12 in a row from 1979 - 2007. Those 2 wins were the last 2 out of 3 played though.

ETA: And while one of the most terrible calls I've ever seen in the OP, Auburn did win that game.

The 5th down call for Colorado vs Mizzou is obviously up there as well.

At least the 5th down took a series of events and some pretty big distractions (someone was actually dying in the stands at the time with EMTs giving him CPR).

This was just in your face and as simple of a call you could make and they blew it

Definitely Auburn homers calling that a terrible call.

that broadcast was an Auburn PPV game - with Andy Burcham and Rod Bramblett (prior to either of them doing the radio play by play for Auburn)

A lot gets made of our lackluster record against Vandy, but 22 of our 39 all-time meetings have been against Vandy teams that finished with an above .500 record. I would bet no other SEC program has played a majority of their games against Vandy teams with winning records.

Vandy was a very strong program in the early 1900s. And up through 1959 they were competitive. Only since 1960 have they been the doormat program of the SEC.

Auburn is 16-2 against Vandy since 1960. Only Bama, LSU, and Florida have a better win% against the Commodores since 1960 of programs with at least 10 meetings…. And one of those two losses was against a Vandy squad that finished ranked in the Top 25.

THe 5th down for Colorado was the worst ever.
Followed by McCluskeys catch for Penn St vs nebraska in 82.

That video quality is only slightly better than any film of Texas A&M's last national championship squad.

That's so laughably bad it's funny looking back on it now. Fortunately, it didn't cost y'all the game.

Thankfully, we have replay. It can be annoying and slow down the game but the stoppages are worth it to avoid debacles like that. Nebraska's 5th down play against Missouri most likely doesn't happen with replay.

Lack of replay likely cost Alabama a last second win at Penn State in 1983:
