Should be a great game. I think Auburn is the best team in the country at this point in the season and expect them to win but I think Kentucky matches up best with them out of anyone I've seen with Tshiebwe and Toppin vs Kessler and Jabari.

I don't know if we are the best team in the country, but we do have a very good team -- and so does Kentucky. It should be a crazy environment and a really tough game. The Kessler v Tshiebwe matchup will be interesting. Cardwell may get in on the action too. He's not in the same league offensively as those two, but he can play some defense. I just hope the refs lay off the whistles, call it equally, and let them play.

As a fan of AU athletics for over six decades I can say without any reservations that this is the biggest regular season game in AU basketball history. I grew up listening to Cawood Ledford and Ralph Hacker call UK games on WHAS out of Louisville and I am familiar with UK basketball and the history of it. AU has the better team but it is the bigness of the moment that concerns me. Big games are part of the lore of UK basketball but not a lot for us. I saw the UK/UT game Saturday and I am still amazed at what I saw. This may not be a super great UK team, but it ain't bad

What UK did to UT is illegal in most states.

Auburn/UK matchup in the Elite 8 was bigger than this.. In the regular season maybe.

Hearing about that game did make my balls shrivel.

KY is a damn talented team and this will be a big challenge.

UK hasn’t played well in hostile arenas this season. Teams have slowed down the game and the Cats get bored.

Last night was a big step. They held their poise against yet another deliberate effort.

Will Auburn use a slow pace? Will Kansas? UK could run most teams off the floor if the opponent plays run and gun.

Logic tells UK’s opponents to slow it down. Nobody likes that. Hopefully, opponents from here on out will run with the Cats, not play “four corners” crap.

What makes you think Pearl's Auburn team doesn't like to run?

It’s hard to play fast when we’re missing shots. I think the slower pace was more of a result from that more than anything else

Did you know a jug of roundup only cost 21 bucks? We know our poison.

Anything can happen in the Big Dance - but you're sitting on a Final Four team with a coach that's up to the task. Should be a good run. Enjoy the ride.

I was a student at little old USI when Bruce Pearl coached there, way back in the 90s. He was very popular then - treated everybody nice.

But will they for this particular game? It’s an extremely important game for both teams. That usually means a slow pace. At least at first as the teams feel each other out. The first half might be slow and the second half could blaze.

AUs game is built around moving the ball down the court fast and shooting it. They do not look for the best shot, they believe in playing good Defense to give them more shooting opportunities.

I played against one of those BP USI teams. They were really good.
