I think tonights game made us 43-8 against AU in Coleman in the last 51 games or something like that.

Indeed. Poor defensive and offensive effort by Bama. Ugly win. Need to improve on that if we hope to beat OM on Sat.

I'm just going to run with the idea that it was a one game thing, and that for some reason a Barbee team against us at Tuscaloosa somehow will inevitably result in a basketball abomination.
And really, I think we're in the tournament now, so that's all that matters. A win is a win, etc.

The game in Auburn earlier this year was an outlier. This game was the standard we can expect when playing them until we figure out how to consistently hit outside shots. I've never seen a team more adept than Auburn at turning a game into an ugly shitfest. That's not really a criticism. Its the only way they can win. But goddamn it makes for some ugly basketball.

I'm struggling to remember what the game was like when we won at Auburn last year but I'm sure it wasn't a thing of beauty.
Fair enough to Auburn though, I thought they played really hard on the defensive end. When we got to the basket everything was contested.
Also, Ben Eblen's free throw stroke reminds me of Charles Barkley's golf swing.
