Just to echo what has been said about 10 times....the away issues were all Gus. It didn't start in 2019 with Bo Nix for sure.
The only away game of consequence that I remember Gus winning was 2013 Texas A&M. Any other SEC game he won on the road was against garbage teams.

I blame Gus for stats like these. Gus was 0-17 against Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and LSU on the road. When you have 17 different opportunities to beat your biggest rivals on the road and you blow every single on of them, you deserve to get fired.

Taking out Akron, Alabama St, Tulane, Kent St, & Samford.
Still much better at home even taking out the cupcakes.
Then you factor in opponents and it paints a more clear picture of why he's worse on the road.

Bro, the offensive savant Gus had fullbacks doing whirlybirds and playground crap. Dan Marino would have looked like Steven Hawkins on a greased driveway as Gus’ QB1.
That being said, it cannot, and nobody is denying, Bo has more than struggled on the road. Let’s see what happens this weekend.

It makes it where a coach can go 8-5, 9-4, etc and not really win more than 3 or 4 league games.
