Auburn is a three to four year rebuild project or get back to the top tier of the conference again. The damage done to that program by first Malzhan and then Harsin cannot be overstated. It showed flashes of its future potential at times this season, but it’s not where it needs to be yet from a talent standpoint.

To be fair, before coming to Auburn his only HC job the SEC was at Old Miss which hasn’t been an elite SEC program for the past 60 years.

Who knows what will happen between more and then. With a retooled OL and these receivers, if Jackson Arnold actually has any arm talent and can get the ball down field with any degree of accuracy we will be dangerous on offense next year. And Durkin will have us primed on D. All big “ifs” at this point.
