I see you guys are already starting threads on being the best offensive team in football.
After beating the Zips . . .
Again, 1-22 the last 23 games.
A team that - in last year’s opener - gave up 69 points and 750 yards against Kent State.
That’s just embarrassing.

Gus really mind fricked some of you guys. I think you all just read the internet and repeat what you hear. We mashed most of our OOC guys and only had a couple games that went as you say out of 21. We would have mashed Akron just as we did with Harsin

I don’t know which poster is more of a alter. That one, or you.
Like I said. No Auburn poster is claiming we are the best offense in the country.

Yeah, definitely not an alter

How has someone that’s been around as long as you get sucked in by alters?

brilliant logic!....
except you have a totally new O and D philosophy. Waiting until game 3, your first real test, to break out the new schemes is moronic. Give every team on your schedule something new every week to scheme for. That is just "basic coaching common sense".
You clearly don't understand what vanilla means. At no point did I remotely say the word scheme, nor did I suggest you should be using a different scheme.
What "scheme" do you think vanilla is?

The OP in that thread may be. But the Auburn fans who posted in there after weren't.
I don't see any of your fans in a huge hurry to correct it or say he is wrong/dumb.

You should worry more about what Auburn, and frankly most of the SEC, is going to do to Arky.
Arky beat you last year, they can do it again.

Very respectfully to you but I disagree. Everrything I witnessed Sat…. Gus and the past coaching staff could not accomplish. I’m not implying Aubie is world beaters either. Long way to go but… the difference is in fact night and day.

Auburn showed a different offense. That alone will make them a better team than they have been. Give Harsin a few years and see how good they are. They could be back to the old Auburn.

Of course he also led me to believe we’d be seeing a lot of plays like this:
I guess our guys aren’t smart or talented enough to pull off the senseless multi-player pirouette yet. You’d think after Gustav’s whirlybird experiments we’d have that down to a science by now
