Don't even get me started on you and Texas not having varsity gymnastics programs. File that under the dumbest things ever.

Ummmmm several SEC schools don’t have scholarship gymnastics. Neither MS school has gymnastics.

Texas is the center of the gymnastics universe. At least women's gymnastics. It would be like UCLA never having a softball team.

Nothing against AU and congrats for the new star.

But my question is why would she even bother with college after her big win. She will be on the Wheaties Box before Sunday and money money money coming her way.

Look what the Gold did for Bruce Jenner............wait

Yeah, it's odd they wouldn't have a program.

She can now do that in college. NIL and whatnot.

Playing for Auburn allows her to keep her training regiment up.

So, is it equestrian or something that is taking it’s place for title IX?

Yep and OU obviously has a top program. I know they get plenty of Texas talent, but I am sure they recruit nationwide these days.

Schools that don't have women's gymnastics just have one fewer male sports. tile IX just mean schools have to have the same amount of women's sports as there are men's sports.

It is a shift for her. She's 18 and she's done being an olympian IMO. I can't recall any collegiate gymnasts on Olympic teams- they are scored differently for sure, with college being more lax IMO. She's going to be the true student athlete, and she will benefit from the NIL.

If this is her one an only Olympics, super glad she made the most of it and will be able to fully capitalize on immediate sponsorships followed by her NIL.
