Only 4 players drafted in the first three rounds and only 18 overall NFL draft picks in the last five drafts.

Believe it or not Bama fans still think Saban inherited a more depleted roster at Bama than what Freeze inherited.

Yes. Brian Harsin was a horrible hire.

Freeze is a failure and we love it when Karma hits a scumbag and a program at the same time.

The roster Saban inherited wasn't in much better shape than the one both Harsin and Freeze inherited. Alabama laid a goose egg in the 2008 draft with exactly 0 players drafted and only 5 players were drafted in the 2009 draft.

A total of 5 Alabama players were drafted from the Jr and Sr classes Saban inherited...Freeze had a total of 8 players drafted after his first two seasons and Harsin had a total of 6 players drafted after his first two seasons.

Saban inherited arguably one of the best Bama linebackers of all time and a 5* OT that later got drafted in the first round.

Freeze inherited 3* Jarquez Hunter.

Some of those players Freeze actually brought in..

2 out of the 3 drafted this class were brought in by Freeze as a matter of fact.

If you're talking about Rolando McClain he technically was recruited and brought on by Saban as part of the 2007 recruiting class. McClain was ranked in the low 100s btw...a very good 4 star prospect but not a superstar coming out of high school.

The only 5 star player Saban inherited was Andre Smith

Yes. He committed to Shula and never wavered after Shula was fired.

And yet BAMA went 12-0 in the regular season in his second year. But then Nick Saban is Nick Saban, and Hugh Freeze will never have to bear that burden.

Bryan Harsin inherited a decent roster, but Hugh Freeze inherited a dogshit roster. Nick Saban definitely inherited a better roster at Alabama than Hugh Freeze at Auburn.

It’s apples to oranges anyways. NIL and portal have changed things.

This doesn't tell me anything I didn't already know. Auburn has been trash the last few years. Of course they don't have any top players in the draft.

Roster inheritance isn't the same problem it was in 2008. You can turn a roster over in a year. Indiana just went from 3-9 to 11-2 in a single year by using the portal. Nothing has stopped Auburn under Freeze from doing something similar.

Are we supposed to care about this? I don't give 2 shites about the NFL. (And I'm rapidly starting to not give 2 shites about college football)

I think the transfers out of Cal before the first gallon of milk Harsin bought in Berkeley expired prove the Barn Baws right in this instance.
