Hmmm, my degree from Auburn has helped me earn a lot of money. My life is far from sucking.

No we don't. It will take a few years of OL recruiting for us to have a shot. The cupboard is bare.

Ah yes, a new coach in the SEC definitely has a chance against Nick Saban.

Gus beat him year 1, numbnuts.

That being said, I think we are mid-pack SEC West this year.

What was Terry Bowden's record first year at the barn?

Answer: 1993 - 11-0, finished 4th in the AP.

We're close! All we need is 3 more 4-5* RB's on scholarship, a new 2-deep offensive line and a couple more 4-5* receivers and we are ready to take our place at the top of the West!

They get written off a lot more often than they have big seasons.

In no big 3 sport does Auburn have a clear shot at anything right now- especially not football. Auburn's at the bottom of the pack in the west with Arkansas. None of us in the west (except for the obvious team) are great right now and Auburn could certainly take any from Ark, the MS schools, Texas A&M, and LSU, but it will be a stretch to win any more than 3/5 of those games.

Add in losses to GA and Alabama and they're not looking good.

You have a coach who wants to throw it 80 times a game. State is fighting at the bottom with Arky. Ole Miss has a much better chance of being relevant than State does.

Well, Gus isn’t Auburn’s coach anymore. Auburn took a downgrade while Gus ran off to a program that beat in Auburn on their last big bowl.

Not complaining, just reality. You guys swap Tennessee with Georgia as your permanent and I bet you'd have a few more losses. Must be nice having a "big rival" that hasn't beaten you since 2006!

State fans coming off their 4 win season, with their HC running an offense that couldn't even win in the SEC 25 years ago, thinking they're above anybody is just sad

Malzahn disputes your remark. Personally I don’t think we have the oline play to be top level yet, but you never know. Nobody saw 2013 coming either.
