Not complaining, just reality. You guys swap Tennessee with Georgia as your permanent and I bet you'd have a few more losses. Must be nice having a "big rival" that hasn't beaten you since 2006!

Let's see now.
First, rivalries are historical situations, right?

Alabama is 41-25 with 6 wins in a row vs. Georgia
Alabama is 57-38 with 14 wins in a row vs. Tenn

Since the present football scheduling format started in 1992, Alabama is 17-11 (.647 winning%) against Tenn. and 8-3 (.727 winning %) against Georgia

Those facts ARE reality!..since the SEC has gone to our present format, we're beating Georgia at a higher rate than Tennessee.

PS- Let's go looking for another excuse...this one's all used up.

Yall rarely play them. When you have (2012, 2017,2018) the games were extremely close. When was the last time Tennessee even played Alabama close? An excuse for what? My only point is that Tennessee has been a much easier opponent the last 15 years than Georgia has....

Now we're talking about how close game were!
FACT:
Alabama is beating Georgia at a higher rate than it is beating Tennessee.

But, you don't play them every year. That point seems to be escaping you.

It's certainly not escaping me. I am saying that since the SEC schedule has been like it is now (1992), Alabama has beaten Georgia at a better rate (per times played) than they have Tenn. Using your logic, you could substitute Vandy for Georgia and say what you're saying about Georgia.

That, and their two worst HCs of the past 60 years faced UGa exactly once in 8 seasons.

It’s definitely a scheduling anomaly that Bama and UGa have faced each other in the regular season only 7 times since the first expansion in ‘92, and only once - that’s right, ONCE - in the last 12 years.

The schedule changed in 2003. Then again in 2012. It's not the same as it was in 1992. I'd agree that in the 90's Tennessee was the better program. But, not since 2002.

They did play this past season. But, 2020 doesn't even feel right. Regarding anything.

And played somewhat regularly up until the Saturday Evening Post controversy in the early 60's

We're good.
I just have gotten accustomed to reading all the excuses that some poster use to keep from admitting the truth about Alabama's success (a.k.a. paying the devil his dues). Sometimes it becomes just ridiculous. Hell, I used to despise the NY Yankees, but they always fielded a helluva team, and I respected that.

That’s true, I forgot that UGa was on Bama’s season even before the COVID reshuffle. So it’s twice in 12 years.

Still, if you look at the five most successful SEC programs since expansion, in terms of overall winning percentage (Bama, Florida, UGa, LSU and AU), Bama has played the other four teams a total of 73 regular season games, while AU has faced the other four a total of 102 times in the regular season over that same stretch.

Cry more, bitch. You speak of AU as if they are some elite program, hampered only by having to play big bad Georgia, LSU, and Daddy Bama.

Auburn is a historically mediocre program. 8-4 is your average over the last 120 years. You are a little brother program and always will be. Know your role, and shut your pussy arse mouth.
