I guess GA are just too busy to tip over a port-a-potty with an AU fan inside. I know it's been done before but some things are just funny everytime.

I can confirm this is true. Everyone in Athens has an agreement to spit on and assault all Auburn fans

When people complain about being spat on in opposing stadiums it's always Auburn fans. I've never been spat on. I've never seen anyone spitting on, or at, or around anyone else at a football game. It doesn't seem like anyone else has, either. Just Auburn fans. Now, I'm not saying they're lying. I'm just saying it's like the old saw. "If you're going about your day and you meet an a-hole, you met an a-hole. If you're going about your day and everyone you meet is an a-hole, well..."

I have conservatively been to around 100 UGA games, both home and away, and these posts always mystify me. Have never seen anything like that, beyond the occasional bark, ever, and the closest I’ve ever come to getting in to a fight at a game was with another UGA fan who couldn’t handle his liquor. Our students can be absolute turds, but I have never seen this happen either.

AU fans are some of the worst to be found anywhere. Drunken, loud mouthed idiots who don’t handle losing well. And after all these years you’d think they would be use to it

I like Athens, have a grand time each time I'm there. With that being said, plenty of barking in my face - I don't mind. I bark back when we occasionally win. They're dawgs ffs. It should be expected.
With that being said, some drunk arse threw a beer on me once while barking.
Good, clean fun. LSU fans are the ones surrounding people and throwing food at tailgates.
P.S. I have a habit of stealing a glass from Mag's every time I'm in town.

That’s nothing. If you really want a true visitor fan experience, go to the Dallas Cowboys @ the Philadelphia Eagles game in 2 weeks dressed up in Cowboy Garb. You’ll love it.

I have been to Athens and LSU 5 times each and can 10000% say I am always treated better in Baton Rouge. LSU fans will harass in a good natured way, then if you play along, they typically offer beer and food. We can talk about how we hate Bama.
There is just more animosity between Auburn and UGA fans.

I’ve never been to a game in Athens, but I’ve been to every SEC West stadium and have never experienced anything but graciousness and kindness. And my SO is a serious Bulldog. I took her to the 2019 SECCG and like an idiot, wore Hog gear all weekend. Nothing. Of course, we drew mostly pity at the time.
