Yeah and that was kind of a down year for the west. Alabama wasn't strong yet. Auburn was on the decline under Tubs. State didn't have Merlins. Ole Miss still sucked. Arkansas was alright and just played great against LSU.

LSU was really the only strong team from the west that year. It has been a different animal ever since.

I'm predicting 9-3 or 8-4 for Auburn.

2 losses or more has only happened like 3 or 4 times in the past 10 years. totally unpossible

we will have gotten done playing an SEC schedule, playing UF, UT and USCe, AND we will likely be undefeated or a loss at a maximum.

Am I supposed to be impressed?

UF probably won't be ranked and will have a sputtering offense again.

UT? LOL. Are you seriously trying to brag about that?

USC is the only decent team you are playing up to that point, and you've shown in recent history how you fare against them.

You being "undefeated or a loss at maximum" up to that point tells me jack shite to be honest. There are at least 5 other teams in the SEC that could realistically say the same thing if given your schedule.

If anything, that would be advantage: Auburn because they are going to be hyped up since they would be going against a highly-ranked team. Having the game in Auburn will certainly help some as well.

you can sit here and think Georgia will go into their last 3 games unprepared despite playing in the SEC and no one will stop you. i just posted here to remind you that i still think you're a dumb arse

So if anyone disagrees with you in regards to your team then they are instantly dubbed a "dumb arse"? Ok, gotcha.

Georgia won't lose a single game next year and will go from losing every game they played against ranked team to winning every game against ranked teams. Anybody who thinks they will lose at all is a dumb-arse. Better?

Same. 9-3 if they find a QB. If not, then 8-4. I can maybe see 10-2 if they find a QB, a defense, and get lucky.

Nah. 2008 was a VERY weak year for the SEC West.

Alabama: 12-2
Arkansas: 8-5
Auburn: 5-7
LSU: 8-5
Mississippi State: 4-8
Ole Miss: 9-4

Returning players/starters. Experience counts for a lot in college football. AU had none last season, we were 120 out of 120 in returing starters, they have grown up now. Plus the new coordinators should bring in new attitudes. There were times last year when we played scared, like the LSU game, or ust quit, like the UGA game, I dont expect to see that again.

And the #1 factor is that the LT The Matador AJ Green is gone.

Is that the company line now-a-days? You sure it wasn't because that high-profile, 5 star QB, left your arse at the alter?

that was some train of thought writing and not quite sure even what I meant by that haha but yes the last team to win the SEC with 2 loses was LSU and they are also the last team to win the SEC west with two conf loses

albeit they were undefeated in regultation :rimshot:
