Texas deserves a claim to the 1983 title more than Auburn does. That's a fact.
Texas beat Auburn at Jordan Hare by two touchdowns.
Texas' only loss in 1983 was a 1-point loss to Georgia in the Cotton Bowl.

The fact is, if they would have played ANY Div 1 team instead of the Citadel that year, their computer strength of schedule would have put them past Oklahoma to get to the BCS championship game. That's a stone cold mathematical fact.

The circumstances of 1983 =/= the circumstances of 1964. I know your little brain thinks you can score a checkmate every time you bring this point up but, unlike yourself, some people actually understand why Alabama and other teams rightfully claim national championships in years they lost their bowl game.
