He is free to throw someone who hasn't already thrown 100 pitches. Now his season might be over but make up your mind. Are you really thinking of the "student athlete" or are you desperately trying to win? Win in the 3 is the solution.

The Cats were out of pitching after Game 1. Can't think of any format that can fix that.

I can't figure Butch's point here. If it was not double elimination, we would have been out day 1. Is he mad that they are playing multiple games in one day instead of spreading it out? They only have so long.

I'm sick of whiny coaches
Baseball actually has a really food format and you have to like the way they treat the mid majors
Plus the mid majors are still at a disadvantage as all their good players will be poached
Coaches get paid a lot of $ these days, deal with it
If you didn't enjoy this past weekend of college baseball that rewards all the teams and conferences in the sport then go try and be a major/minor league coach or go back down to high school

I dont know Butch's intent but he should not complain about stupid shite. We needed Hetzler heavily one day. Other programs also need elite pitching in a crunch. That's baseball.
