I agree. The new one on the right looks like one for peewee league.

The new one looks like the old logo melted a little.

I wonder which booster’s daughter or son-in-law’s marketing firm got paid. First to do a ‘study’ then conceptualize a new design, etc. Some contract worth at least $500k was made for this

Exactly. It’s absolutely amazing and really frustrating when you think about how that process probably played out.

It was probably (hopefully) made by our design school

Looks like the little pagoda boat in the center is now sinking.

The logo change in the OP looks bad in full color. What a waste of time.
I like how it looks here (but I still don't support the move)

The dumbfrick former President (Leath) wanted to rebrand the University so the term Auburn would stand alone over University. This genius thought he belonged in a Manhattan advertising firm. I do not know why the University decided to launch it after we got rid of his arse. This will not end well with who is left behind.

I like our script A on polos and hats but I don't like it as the main logo. I think we overuse it in our apparel. Just slap a script A on it and be done with it...that seems to be our athletic departments attitude.
We should go back to the old school logo and also use BAMA in block letters as an alternate logo.

LOL, they changed it to a font called "Sabon".
You misspelled your Daddy's name Auburn.

The Auburn Uniform Database reports the university will also begin using the font "Sabon" instead of the traditional "Copperplate" the school has utilized in athletics.

Thought it would read Atlanta Junior College.

Not with the Former President. They probably paid a NY Advertising Firm a couple million dollars for that change. Remember this is a guy who used the University's planes to fly on private trips and hired his Flight Instructor as a VP while he was at Iowa St.

Say no more. Jeff Long tried that at Arkansas when he was the AD.
Some people just cannot resist the urge fix something that isn't broken.
