John Cohen should be fired. Hiring Hugh Freeze was a terrible mistake, and so was promoting Steven. Two very bad hires for your top two sports.

It was a really weird hire, but only because Auburn invested so much into a new arena.
Pearl turned it into a respectable job at minimum and proved that there is enough backing to win at Auburn.
In the end it's a business, so Auburn was not under any circumstance obligated to hire Steven Pearl. They spent all that money and sweat equity into building a solid program, and then just lit it on fire by hiring a first time head coach. Despite Bruce leaving suddenly and at an inopportune time, the program still had enough status to go and pluck away a sitting successful mid major head coach. Hiring little Pearl just shows how grossly mismanaged and unserious the Auburn Athletics department is. It's a very womanly trait to make decisions rooted in emotion rather than logic.
Anyway, couldn't happen to a better bunch

Since Auburn beat Florida they have become THE worst team in the conference. Don't underestimate this team, given their trend they are definitely worse than they were yesterday
