Do y’all not know people that can afford out of state tuition? You know, even with scholarships and shite? You do realize that a huge chunk of your student body is from Atlanta, right? If you legitimately thought you had a chance at getting into UGA, you probably got a pretty hefty scholarship to Auburn.

This is why I don't want the lottery in AL but am glad its in GA. In Ga, you have to make a 4.0 or higher and then you still get the "lotto" of getting in based on the county you live in etc. Most of the really smart kids go to Tech, of course. The rest try to get in Ga. But as AU grad from the state of Alabama, I look forward to sending my kid to AU from out of state. Much easier to get into just expensive as hell.

Your logic is if someone can't get into UGA they would rather pay out of state tuition at Auburn then go to any other University in state or go any of the universities in surrounding states. Maybe you're just a dumb millennial who doesn't understand how money works but that is large financial investment that I doubt anyone would make on a crappy school. With great critical thinking skills like that you are a lock for UGA.
