I think he actually would.

Unfortunately I think Stidham might have done well with Freeze. Still badly need OL and a good RB.

Serious question.

Why does this matter? Gus runs the offense anyway. Why make this much of a fuss about Hugh Freeze?

To be fair we’ve had to rely on transfer QBs pretty much since Eli left. Prof is right; that nobody has hired him yet but we keep hearing there’s a vague smoking man holding it up is a classic Freeze tactic. Blame everyone but himself.

2 coaches that give Bama fits would've just teamed up

Gus is 2-4 vs Alabama

Freeze was 2-3

So a combined 4-7

The way some of you are talking you would think it was 7-4 not 4-7

seems like something that'll get us all excited until we realize the personnel isn't really there and there is no way Gus hands off control of this offense to anyone

Billboards are definitely the way to go. You're welcome and good luck.

Again. We know you are a dynasty. Those 2 guys and the drunk that's over in Arizona now were the only coaches who beat him.

First off- I thought Hugh was ok after midnight a week ago or something around then?

Secondly- the issue yesterday was that Gus couldn't hire Hugh because Hugh wouldn't take a 1 year contract and that was all tptb at Auburn would allow Gus to hire an assistant for?

A different day, a different story.

stop believing stuff you read coming from our reporters. Auburn guards their info like no other. Our "reporters" throw crap against the wall hoping it will stick.

Nothing dirty happened with cam and Auburn.

Papa newton wanted money from miss State because they fricking suck. But Auburn is close to a Atlanta and a border line blue blood so they didn’t have to cheat to get him.

The SEC can’t and won’t do shite if Auburn pushes forward with hiring him.

They will try. I wish them well.

Did you miss last year when Alabama tried to hire Freeze?

Freeze abandons the run too quickly and that’ll be a major sticking point for Gus. Plus when Hugh tries to run a Nate Craig Myers throwback pass the Auburn version of the REC will murder him in his sleep.

Joke's on you! NCM and his brother both (wisely) jumped ship before the season started!

I am concerned with an inside running game with Freeze. But we really didn't have one this year either, so WTH.

he would bring a much more sophisticated passing tree. Auburn needs that desperately.

ETA I think Freeze is the one person Gus would actually let have some say-so.

His passing tree is get open a lot times

He would get y’all into more trips and use the HB in the passing so I guess it wouldn’t be too bad
