Cohen thinks the smartest guy in the room. Arrogance and lack of self awareness are a dangerous combo.

Can I just say again how appreciative I am of Auburn for being stupid enough to hire Cohen away from us?

I thought we were going to be stuck with him for the next 20 years. What a blessed day that was when Auburn offered him that job.

I never would have guessed that John Cohen would be who finally destroyed Auburn athletics.

Maybe Auburn needs to do the opposite of that.

Cohen absolutely didn't want Leach. He hated Leach. Too based for him. Leach was his last resort. He was an abhorrent AD. Good baseball coach, dog shite AD. What he did to stifle our NIL fundraising should be criminal.

Oh I agree. I was just saying his football hires really weren’t bad ones. I’ll never forgive him for running off Vic and torpedoing the girls basketball program

I'm good with Cohen's statement and presser today. MSU people don't move me much on many things, unsurprisingly.

Still don’t really understand why State fired Moorhead. He was 14-12 (7-9) in his two years at State. They would kill for that right now.

He squandered what was a 10+ win team his first season. Number 1 defense in the counry and returned almost the entire offense from a 9 win team. Also discipline issues, it was obvious he was cratering the program and his W/L record was literally only decent due to loaded talent Mullen left

The 2018 State team would have rivaled the 2014 team had Mullen stayed

He’s a puppet. Tim Apple’s hand is making the moves.

MSU officials were concerned about the culture and discipline in the program under Moorhead, who had a 14-12 record with the Bulldogs that culminated with a 38-28 loss to Louisville in the Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl on Monday.
Sources said school officials were not only upset by the team's performance in the Music City Bowl, but also with the situation involving starting quarterback Garrett Shrader, who missed the game with an eye injury reportedly suffered during an altercation at practice (Thanks Willy Gay for breaking our qb’s orbital bone).

I don’t think Tim Cook gives any shits about Auburn and especially Auburn athletics.

There are some people pulling strings but I don’t think it is Tim Cook.

What he means is that the boosters are calling the shots and he is trying really hard to obfuscate that fact.

No one is getting the AD slot at Auburn that isn’t doing the big money boys bidding.

And no one is getting hired without their direct approval or they’ll run them out like they have multiple other coaches who didn’t play ball.
